Name: Albel Nox
Nickname: Albel the Wicked
Japanese name: Arbel Nox
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Year of Birth: SD 748 (2834 A.D.)
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 141 lbs
Hair Colour: black at the top, blonde at the ends
Eye Colour: red
Build: Slender/tall
Weapons: Katana, Prosthetic Claw/Gauntlet
Race: Ellicoorian, Glyphian. (Human)
Occupation: Captain of the Black Brigade, one of the three millitary branches of Airyglyph.

Albel Nox is a very skilled warrior, born and raised in Kirlsa, Airyglyph. He's an orphant; his father died during the Ascension of the Flame ceremony (for which he blames himself), what happened to his mother is unknown (though most assume she's dead).
However, he's lacking when it comes to social skills. It appears he looks down on others, mainly the people who can't stand up and defend themselves.
He generally refers to others with insults like "maggots", "worms" and "fools". He acts like he's confident in his fighting abilities and he's very arrogant in general. Other people fear him and his abilities, hence his nickname "Albel the Wicked".
He's merciless in battle, not afraid to kill. However, he doesn't prey on weaklings, which makes him, despite his nickname and attitude, a honourable warrior.

[..Behind The Claw..]

Albel's left arm was severely burned as a result of a failed attempt to make a partnership with a dragon, as per the custom of his nation, in a ceremony called the "Accession of the Flame Ceremony." Glou Nox saved Albel from death, but at the cost of his own life. This has led Albel to self-loathing, as he thinks that he did not deserve to be saved as he had failed. It has been hypothesized that because of a fear that someone will sacrifice themselves to save him again, he keeps others at arm's length, so that he (and they) won't get hurt again. Regardless, Albel is socially inept; he speaks little, and that which he says is often derogatory or threatening in nature, and he often refers to others as "maggots," "worms," and "fools."

Albel has since worn a clawed gauntlet over his wounded and scarred arm.

RP Journal Entry #2: RP Between Albel and Aoxy.

Trees, trees and more trees! If there was anything that made Albel more furious that he was right now, he couldn't think of it.

He was lost, and in a forest of all places. How degrading!

Spinning on his heel, he came to face the same view at a different direction. Slowly getting more and more agitated, his left arm lifted up and planted his metal fingers into the bark of the tree next to him.

He was going to get out of this forest if he had to cut down every tree to do it!

Aoxy had happened to be relaxing in the same tree that Albel had decided to take his anger out on. Her wonderful painting of the leaves had been rudely interrupted by someone who was having a bad day. What a bother. Before the odd noise of metal being shoved into the tree distracted her, the girl had been whistling to herself. For some reason, she couldn't help herself from thinking about 'Painting the Roses Red.' It'd been years since she'd watched Alice in Wonderland, but the song seemed appropriate. Temporarily halting her painting, Aoxy popped out of the tree. She was upside-down, as her legs were clinging to the branch she'd been sitting down. "You got a reason why you've decided to attack this innocent tree?"

When a normal person sees someone in this kind of situation, they're usually happy since they've found their saviour.... this is not the case with Albel.

The all-too familiar scowl graced his lips as he narrowed his crimson eyes at the insanely dressed girl. His gauntlet dropped from the tree to rest by his side as his right hand continued to rest at his waist.

"Not that it's any of your business, maggot. But this tree, like all others, is in my way. Innocent or not, reason or not, I will take out my anger on them if I please." He practically hissed at the girl, thoroughly annoyed with the girl he had officially donned 'annoying, tree-hugging maggot' in his mind.

Aoxy crossed her arms as she hung down from the tree. The blood was already rushing to her head, but she could wait just a few moments before going back up into the sanctity of her painting area. "You know, that isn't very polite to me." Said the girl who had been putting graffiti all over the tree's leaves. "I'm sure that the trees are very hurt by your actions against them." She shook her paintbrush at him in a scolding manner. As there was still paint on it, the dark red drops flew through the air. "Oops." She said, pretending that it had been an accident, but not apologizing for it.

"Why don't you inform me of why I should care, girl?"

Dodging all of her pathetic little paintdrops, Albel looked smug at her until one drop landed in the middle of his forehead and dripped down a bit.

A scowl now on his face, he lifted up his hand and brushed the paint off of his forehead. "Oops, I'm sure." He spoke the last word slower than the others and drug it out longer.

"I'm also very sure that trees do not care, as they all get chopped up for firewood, or made into carriages of some sort. They can deal, just like you." He said with a smirk as he lifted his gauntlet again and began dragging one of his claws down the trunk of the tree, his eyes on the strange girl the whole time.

"Because one day, the trees or someone that loves them may turn against you. Beware the tree huggers." Flow kept her expression relatively serious as he dodged the paint drops. She managed to keep her composure until one landed on his forehead. After that, she proceeded to almost fall out of the tree. She laughed for a while before actually regaining her ability to speak. "You really are selfish, aren't you?" She shook her head and sighed to him. This time she shook her finger instead of the paintbrush. "You know, this tree is likely older than you are." She returned to her painting, this time using the bottom of the branch as her canvas.

"Beware the tree-huggers? I'm pretty sure that I could destroy all of them with my one left hand... but fine, I'll play your game, fool. I'll leave your precious trees alone... for a price of course, being the selfish one that I am." Snerking, he rolled his eyes at her choice of words. Albel wasn't selfish. He didn't do things purely for himself, maybe in the eyes of foolish maggots maybe, but what did they know? Nothing.

"Well, of course the wood is older than I, that's not the point of this conversation girl... I don't even know what the point is now, you're just spitting out random facts that doesn't help either of us." Not that he cared about her, of course. He just wanted out of this damn forest.

"I'll have to tell them to only let you hit them with your right, then." Aoxy grabbed hold of the branch with both hands, making sure not to accidentally snap her paintbrush while clinging to the tree. Her legs let loose the hard bark of the wooden organism. Once she was sure she'd be able to fall safely, she let go of the large tree completely and dropped lightly to the ground. She approached him until the two were only a few feet apart. "And what might that be?" Her hands went behind her back as she looked up to him with curious eyes.

"What I'm getting at is that you should respect your elders. Even if they are trees." She nodded stoically. Of course, he was likely older than she was, and she was in no way respecting him. But she was not the one who was being questioned about the quality or quantity of her respectfulness. He could take it, that was obvious for her.

"I'm sure you will."

Spoken simply, Albel stood there silent as the girl did her acrobatic fall out of the tree. Raising an eyebrow slightly as she ended up a few feet away from him, he couldn't help but chuckle. This girl had guts, or maybe it was the fact that she didn't know who he was. He definitely wasn't used to this kind of behaviour towards him, especially not since-

"Take me out of this forest." Looking down at the girl, he finally got a look at what she was clothed in.... did she kill a rainbow, what was she wearing!?

"And if you get me out of here, I'll think about respecting these future chairs you're so fond of.... Besides, aren't I your elder? If we all went by your rules, you should be treating me with a little bit more respect, hm, maggot?" He wasn't even going to add the last word, but her 'respect' speel had bugged him.

Aoxy looked down at the bottom of her coat to see that a few stray twigs and leaves had lodged themselves in it. Her hand moved down to pick them out, but she decided that it would be interesting to leave a few of the leaves there. They'd be splashed with paint or gone soon, anyway. "Aww, poor defenseless old man can't find his way out on his own?" She teased lightly before laughing. ...Either she was completely oblivious to who Albel was, or she just didn't care in the least. "Maybe I will. Then again, maybe I'll just lead you deeper into the Wood." She shrugged and smiled, leaning her weight onto her heel and turning to go in the opposite direction. "Onward, then!"

Smirking slightly from her response, he started following her in the random direction he figured she had chosen. This girl had an attitude, a spark that entertained him.

"What's your name, girl?" He asked as he looked around to find some specific landmarks, certain trees, places of things... If she was indeed leading him out, then he was walking further into the woods before, this was a tad familiar. If only he had turned around and walked in the opposite direction, he'd probably be out of this happy-tree, bunny-forest place by now.

Aoxy bobbed and weaved through trees that she could have just walked around. Although it was a forest, the trees were usually spaced out enough for her to walk comfortably through. "Aoxy. And you?" She didn't have to tell him, but now that she had, there was no taking it back. It only occured to her a moment later that he hadn't told her his name beforehand. Tree, tree, one more tree, then a bush. She'd managed to see the end of the forest from her tree, though she hadn't been paying extreme attention to all of the details. What she did know was that she was headed in the right direction.

...Probably.

"Albel, Albel Nox. Cap-" he paused, the foolish girl probably wouldn't even know what he was talking about, "Nevermind." He said and ended his speaking right there.

All this walking was getting to him, that's what Lum's were for after all! A person of his high status shouldn't be made to walk through the woods of a... Where exactly was he anyways? He was sure that he knew all the areas on Elicoor, however he managed to get himself lost...

With his luck, that Luther had managed to program this one last thing in before he left.

"What was that?" Aoxy turned her head backwards for a moment in order to see if there was anything that he had been trying to say. She grabbed hold of a branch that was in her way so that she wouldn't smack into it while walking forward. "Fine, if you don't want to tell me, I'm sure I'll survive." She trudged on through the dark forest. She was positive that the town she'd just recently moved to was somewhere nearby. Exactly where was the question. "I'm going to get you a map or something. This is keeping me from my relaxation time." Of course, her relaxation time was all of the time. She wasn't missing much -the trees weren't going to be going anywhere for a while.

"Albel Nox, Captain of the Black Brigade, and the previous captain of the Dragon Brigade." He spoke with pride and simplicity.

"But you don't know anything about those, do you?" As he asked, his eyebrow was raised slightly. He was actually interested in her answer, it could make the difference in if his theory was correct or not.

"I'm pretty sure that if I ever come back here again, I'm sure I will be perfectly fine." He really was good with directions, he just wasn't good at finding his way out of a forest when he didn't know how he got there in the first place.

"Well I'm sorry for ruining your relaxation time, this isn't exactly what I'd like to be doing either." He should be training, but that could be pushed to the side for a bit while he figured out where he was exactly.

"Then I'll guess you're a fighter, huh? You sure look and act like one." His clothes did give her a certain feeling that led her to believe he'd fight someone. ...That, or the metal arm. Either one. "To tell the truth? Notta thing." She shrugged slightly before continuing through the dense growth. "Not that that's ever been a problem before." It was usual for her to have no idea where she was exactly. But did it really matter? As long as she was having fun, there was no problem for her. That could sometimes come at the expense of others, though. No matter. "Good, because I'm not going to be around next time to help." She took one final left turn before freeing herself from the darkness of the forest. It could have been a much shorter trip had she taken a few less detours, but in the end, she'd gotten them out. That was what mattered. "Ta da!"

"True, and one of the best in all of Airyglyph. Not that you'd know where that is." He wasn't really fond of the word 'fighter', but he didn't need to bring up another reason for a verbal spar, not yet anyways.

"Good. Because I don't want you around to help," He wasn't really being mean now, just wasting time while being his somewhat-normal self as he awaited his return to civilization.

"Ta-da, indeed." He walked a few feet past Aoxy before turning back around to face her. Bowing his head slightly, his left arm crossed his stomach while his right lay perfectly still at his side.

"I... owe you one, thank you." He lifted his head. That quite possibly might have been the first time Albel has dared to utter those words, but he felt it was appropriate, even if his actions were seen as 'weird' or 'obscure' to wherever he was.

Summoning all of the knowledge of all of the places that she knew about, Aoxy could not even vaguely remember a place called 'Airyglyph'. She had just never heard of it before -but apparently, it was where Albel was from, and he was proud of it. "Still, it is a slightly impressive statement in itself. Even if you could be blatantly lying." She shrugged before pulling out her brush again. Luckily, nothing had gotten stuck in it. Though some more paint had found its way onto her jacket. "I'll make sure to be there when you don't need me for help, then." She stated contently before taking another step away from the woods. "No problem. And don't think that I won't want to be repayed sometime." He was pretty polite for a jerk guy.

Albel grinned, "People who lie about that sort of thing there, they don't last long... and since I'm not, thank you for the compliment." It's not like he was going to refuse the compliment.

"It sounds like a deal then girl, I'll make sure to be here so you can see how much help I don't need." He might actually show up again, just for the fun of it... and to spite her a bit.

"I guess I'll be seeing you later then, whenever you want me to repay my debt. Whatever that may end up being." With a slight eye roll to his own words, he nodded again politely before spinning on his heel and heading down the path.

He might actually not mind being stuck in this place... nah, he'd most likely hate it.

Chuckling under his breath, he lifted his right hand in a slight wave behind him to the girl who would most likely head back to the woods.

"I can't imagine that someone like you would have to lie about it. Nor can I imagine someone like you live after lying like that." Aoxy pointed out. Though to Albel, such a statement might be considered a compliment. She waved her paintbrush about, flicking off extra paint drops. In her pocket, she had some portable cups of paint in case she needed a few extra colors. "I'm sure that you never need any help at all." She giggled before continuing. "I've got a gread memory, so don't think I'll ever forget that you owe me. You just better be around. If not, then I might have to hunt you down." She shook her finger at Albel once again, scolding him before he had even done anything. "I'd say it was nice meeting you, but I'm not sure if it was, exactly." Her free hand waved to Albel's back as he walked away. She turned and walked back to the forest. But surprisingly, she did not go back in. Instead, she marched to the nearest tree, took out one of her cups of paint, dipped her brush, and painted her name onto the tree. Her paints dried incredibly quickly, so they rarely ran. Whoever passed that tree would know her name. And for some reason, that made her proud.

RP Journal Entry #3: Leaving the wood and discovering electricity for the first time.

As Albel left the path, his mind slowly wandered away from Aoxy, and around the topic of "Where in the name of Airyglyph am I!?"

Walking straight ahead from where he left the wood, he slowly began to encounter a few odd looking structures that he could only assume were houses.

He walked past a few long stretches of houses before he paused. One house almost 'called' to him, it reminded him of something he should recognize, of course he couldn't think of what it was, nor did he care at the moment.

Scratched into a wooden post near the front of the house was 'Nox'.

Albel walked up to the door and banged on it a few times before turning the handle, it opened easily. Leave it to a Nox to leave their door unlocked.

Once inside he looked around, seeing a familiar his eyes widened. A small and simple place. The room looked almost identical to his main room in the castle of Airyglyph.... could he have been here before, and decorated it as such?

There was no logical explanation to what was going on here, but that did seem to be the general theme of this place.

Heading over to the next room, he found a basic bedroom. Bed, table, folded sheets at the end of his bed, and a single pillow. Setting up his bed, he then sat down and took off his shoes, placing them next to the comfy piece of furniture. He reached out and opened the drawer.

Even his journal was there.

Placing the book on the table, he looked at the only other occupant of it's surface. A glass vase with a weird cover and a little string coming from the top with a button or bead hanging from the bottom of that.

He leaned it forward and grasped the string lightly, it was taunting him, how could he not? He tugged on it.

And an explosion of light filled the room and knocked Albel back down on the bed with his hands covering his eyes "What in the world!?" As he blinked, he could see flickers of green from the light. It was almost as bad as looking into the sun itself, and it stayed no matter how many times he blinked.

Furious with the innocent invention, he lifted his left arm and smacked the lamp so hard the plug pulled out of the outlet before hitting the opposite wall and smashing into a billion pieces.

He then stood up and walked over the offending object and stepped on a larger piece with his heel and smirked as it cracked into three more pieces to add to the pile.

Pausing briefly, he looked at the end of the cord, and to the outlet it came from. "What an interesting invention... I should get myself another one of these."
