....I got an add in the mail for a one peiece Swim Suit that's supposed to trim your figure. I'm sorta curious about it...but I don't understand how the sizes work. They're just two digit numbers, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20,22, 24.

know what women's clothing size you are? that's how it works.
We don;t like men knowing out measurements if we're chubby or busty or hip-y, etc.
so it goes by size.

http://assets.macys.com/dyn_img/size_charts/123672.gifIt has a sizing chart, I dunno if it's accurate or not. Suppossedly I'm around size 8-9, If I remember correctly from the clothes I've bought, but it says I'm about 12 ... Probably I didn't measure myself well, I dunno.

I think Mexico has a different size system than the US (there are several...US, Europe, Japan, not sure about others), so that could explain it.

Hm...it stops at 16, but if I'm reading that getting the parturn right with my waist, being the only measurment I know, I'd probably be a 22.

Hino, there is no way you are a 22 with your waist.
You are not nearly as pudgy as me, and that happens to be the awimsuit size I wear. Oh god, I just posted my size online.....
here's a siggestion if you're brave.
Go into penny's sears or some mixed-clothing store, wear some white briefs, and go try a few on.
Swimsuits are hard to size without doing that, I speak from experience- and that's when you KNOW what your size is.

Um, I have a 36'' waist.
How do you know how pudgy I am...I've never shown a picture of myself here.
Not brave enough to CD in public....mail order is one thing, but going into a store is too scary.

you've never posted even a normal pic of yourself?
huh, my bad, I thought you had.
still not quite as pudgy as me, and this is after I'm trying to shed a few pounds.
if the suit is ten dollars, give it a try.
and good luck! I'm glad I won;t have to go buy a new one this year, it's a pain in the arse finding swimsiuts that fit right.

Well, I have a 32 inch waist, and I'm an 8, though sometimes a 10, if it's feeling mean.
So, I'd extrapolate from that that you'd be closer to a ... hmm ... 14? I'd try one at 14 and see what happens. You may be a 16 though, if you have a broad chest as well. Thats a problem I have a lot. I'm an 8/10 on the hips, but a 10/12 on the chest. Which is ok if I'm buying say, a top and a skirt, but a pain in the a** if I'm trying to get a dress.
