I was a white belt, but Shihan Par Ford (my senseis sensei) promoted me the next belt while he was visiting. I understand that we are all under different systems, so here is how the one I'm part of is.
White Belt.
Green Belt.
Brown Belt.
Black Belt (First Dan).
I dont know any other way to simplify it...
