((Go right ahead and Criticize))

It's never enough

You broke my heart,

Into a million pieces.

I’m bruised and broken,

From all the lies.

You said, “I love you.”

So many times

How could I know?

It was all a lie.

I told the truth,

I always loved you.

I never lied.

I never wanted,

To say goodbye.

Why did you lie?

To me and everyone else.

Instead of the truth,

It’s what I deserved

I never asked for anything,

I only wanted your love.

I gave you everything,

But it’s never enough,

I hate you,

Colten.

((Meh, so you dont ask where it came from. Boyfriend broke up with me earlier today, popped this out, and cried for about three hours ;-; I'm so pathetic. ))

You're not pathetic. I can't tell you how many nights I spent crying, how many times I wanted to be isolated, how many times that I wished for it all to go away when I broke up with my girlfriend.

As for your poem, I understand your feelings here, and they are conveyed interestingly. I won't criticize, you did not ask. But I will say that this is definately a spur of the moment poem.

Meh, Criticize if ye want. Have no problem with harshness or anything else, really.

Well then I will say that you use essentially the same few subjects over and over, it gets somewhat repetitive, but still a good poem in my personal opinion, so I shall say "Well done."

You're very welcome my friend, I pray that I was not too blunt, or mean. I honestly try to be kind and courteous to everyone that I meet ^^

Oh no, not at all. Hehe, actually, I think I've seen my 3 year old cousin be meaner XD But I'm not sure if that's a bad thing.

So no, you werent mean at all. It was a spur of the moment thing, and all that was running through my mind was "How could he do this to me? He said he loved me, he lied to me, ect."

Which is understandable, I wrote a poem in the same manner, which I have with me, but I'm afraid to post it up. I do not like remember. or rather dwell on the past.

And I hope that you do not think less of me since I apparently am not as mean as someone of the age of 3.

Hah.. I actually kind of respect it, for the win! xD
To tell the truth... mean people make me scared, slightly, to post stories and poems.

Respect? Well that is certainly interesting.
And as for meanness, please note that you will receive none from me. That is not how I like to go about things. Even if I do criticize, it will always be in the most polite way that I can make it.

Nooo! You are not pathetic! It upsets me everytime someone says that!!! My best friend says it all the time too! Because you wanna know who's pathetic? That ex-boyfriend of yours who dumped you for no apparent reason! (And if there was a reason, the least he could've done was give it to you). You, my friend, are not the one who's pathetic!!!! So keep your head up high!!! You're a special unique person, as is everyone. You just gotta believe in yourself and keep trying. 3nodding
You wanna know what makes this poem so great? The fact that it was written on pure emotion. Something bad happened and instead of taking it out on someone or hurting yourself, you turned your pain into something absolutely beautiful. Poetry. Trust me, try writing something when you're not full of some sort of emotion and try putting it down on paper. Then compare the two poems. You'll find the one you wrote when you were caught up in a moment to be much better. Anyway, I loved it! Keep writing! And look to the silver lining! (Whatever that means!!! xd )

Haha, Seinu, I love how encouraging you are, everything that you've said is true. And I am really proud to have you as the Captain of the guild. I was lucky to find this one.

Please make no mistake. No one is pathetic. They each have their own way of expressing themselves. We all express ourselves in some form or another, and for us it is writing. So please don't call yourself pathetic. This poem is from pure emotions and something that struck them. It may not have been in the nicest of manner nor the smoothest. but, all in all the poem is quiet nice. Though slightly repeatitive. I enjoyed reading it.

As did I. I am glad that there are such encouraging people in this Guild to help someone who is in a struggle, really makes this place feel welcoming.

I just hope and feel that everyone can feel comfortable about posting their work and ideas without fearing harsh judgment or cruel comments. As much as I have seen being in this guild for a short time. Everyone seems to be understanding and helpful when someone is in need. I respect that. And I hope to see more work and wonderful talents from everyone. Keep up the good work!
