I usually try to find torrents, other than that, I go to the jap video store around here, but that's not enough!
I checked on blockbuster online and netflix and they freaking suck selectiowise.
Anyone know of any good sites?
P.S I'm sad this place is kinda dead now. :T

Actually, I find a reasonable selection at my local Blockbuster. Never looked at their online stuff. We've also got a few theatres within reasonable driving distance that show stuff like that. And conventions, depending on what they focus on, are great for that too. Atomfilms used to have all sorts of stuff, but I only really check out the Star Wars fanfilms now. Youtube might have something. *shrug*

Blockbuster really isn't all that great for a good selection.. What's wrong with Netflix, though? When I was signed up to it, unless the movie I was looking for was really, incredibly obscure, I had no trouble.
Other than that, I always try torrents too. Sorry I'm no big help. But actually, try Amazon.com. Like if you're looking for a japanese movie, amazon.co.jp, you can set it to english. Yesasia.com is also another site that carries japanese, korean, and chinese media.

I go to a local chain called TLA video that has an excellent selection of foreign and indie. I also rent from Netflix which works well.

Our local Blockbusters have an increadbly random selection of japanese movies. It will veer insanely from me wandering through the isles going, "What the ******** is this doing here" to me sighing in an irritated fashion before shuffling off with some sort of american thing. Really it just depends on who runs your local stores. I'll admit though, I have a full time job and no girlfriend so I tend to just buy what I need, since some of the stuff I like causes people to shutter in a horrified fasion and walk away. Pistol Opera for the win.

Netflix doesn't have everything, but that's all I have access to so it works for me. =)
