The sins
The seven deadly sins: Lust, greed, pride, envy, sloth, gluttony, and wrath.
The seven deadly sins are no longer just seven individuals. The seven individuals that are the sins incarnate now lead their own armies. They fight against each other over the world while their master laughs. Some have formed alliances and others stand alone. There are those who stand against the sins and their armies, but theirs seems like a losing battle. When the sin incarnate dies, another takes their place.
The master: A mysterious individual. The only ones to see this person so far are those who are the sins incarnate. Not much is known about this figure.
Lust: Lust is an inordinate craving for sex, power, or image that gets out of control. The punishment in hell for this sin? They'll be smothered in fire and brimstone, not kisses. Lust incarnate can make any one lust after them, gender does not matter. Lust incarnate is smart, but can be a bit childish in some aspects and is sometimes pouty.
Greed: Greed is the desire for material wealth and gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also known as Avarice or Covetousness. The punishment in hell for this sin? They'll be boiled alive in oil. Bear in mind that it is the finest, most luxurious boiling oil that money can buy, but its still boiling. Greed incarnate is usually a theif or a rogue of some kind. Expensive and shiny thing usually grab this person's attention from almost everything else.
Pride: Pride is excessive belief in ones own abilities, that interferes with the individuals recognition of god. It has been called the Sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity. The punishment in hell for this sin? They will be broken of the wheel. Pride incarnate tends to be stuck up and places themselves above all others. This individual usually comes from a noble or wealthy family.
Envy: Envy is the desire for others traits, status, or situation. The punishment in hell for this sin? They'll be put in freezing water. Envy incarnate tends to be slightly withdrawn as they are usually holding a conversation with themselves about things around them that they wished was their's. This individual also gains the ability to take on the appearence of others.
Sloth: Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. The punishment in hell for this sin? They'll be thrown in snake pits. Sloth incarnate tends to be lazy and has others do things in their place. This individual has a second in command that gives most of the orders to their followers.
Gluttony: Gluttony is an inordinate desire to food, entertainment, legitimate goods, and even the company of others. The punishment in hell for this sin? They'll be forced-fed rats, toads, and snakes. Gluttony incarnate can usually be found indulging themselves in their desires. When this individuals need for their desires conflicts with what needs to be done, their second in command gives the orders.
Wrath: Wrath is a rushed, angered approach to the problems of others. Being impatient with the faults of others. It is also known as Anger. The punishment in hell for this sin? They'll be dismembered alive. Wrath incarnate is usually in a bad mood and is quick to punish those around them for their failings. When this individual shows more than their slight anger, it is best to leave.
The Virtues
Those who are not with the sins are led by the incarnates of the virtues. These are: humility, devotion, patience, zeal, generosity, faith, and control. They work together but some have stronger connections than others. They lead the people as a group. These incarnates are much like those of the sins: one one is killed, another takes their place.
Control: Self control and self mastery prevent pleasure from killing the soul by suffocation. It is also known as Temperance. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be placed as a high respected helper of God in Heaven. This incarnate is directly against Lust.
Generosity: Generosity is about more then money, it means letting others get the credit or praise. It is giving without having expectations of the other person. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be given anything they want once they arrive in heaven. This incarnate is directly against Greed.
Humility: Humility is seeing ourselves as we are and not comparing ourselves to others. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be given immortality on earth. This incarnate is directly against Pride.
Devotion: Devotion activly seeks the good of others for their sake. It dedicates themselves to others with love and hope. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be allowed to see loved ones in Heaven or earth. This incarnate is directly against Envy.
Zeal: Zeal is the energetic responce of the heart to Gods commands. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be given wings in both earth and heaven. This incarnate is directly against Sloth.
Faith: Faith accepts the natural limits of pleasures and preserves this natural balance. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be given the choice to be let into Heaven or back to earth. This incarnate is directly against Gluttony.
Patience: Patience means taking the tender approach, with kindess and compassion. To accept people and their flaws. The reward in heaven for this virtue? They will be allowed to live in their version of the perfect world. This incarnate is directly against Wrath.
