Welcome to the Nightside!
Aah, the Nightside- a secret square mile of London where Gods and Demons roam the earth side by side- and occaisonally join in the same support groups. It is a place of magic and science where it is eternally three in the morning It also makes a great place for a roleplay...
The World of the Nightside is a roleplay based off Simon R. Green's Nightside Series, but no knowledge of the book is really needed. It is a free-for-all supernatural fantasy/sci-fi roleplay where you can be and do almost everything, and I really hope you join.

The Rules
Only a few basic rules:
1. Follow Gaia TOS
2. Semi-Lit to literate roleplayers are good.
3. No godmoding
4. If you have a character with any sort of extreme power, you should have a drawback (ex- there is one character in the Nightside series with the power to make anything dissappear from existence, but everytime he does this, he becomes less and less real himself)

Current CharactersAurelie NFaelin My Character Gaia Username: Aurelie NFaelin Character Name: Dead Boy Age: 17 Race: Human Ability (and flaw): Walking Corpse Back Story: Dead Boy is a child of the Nightside who was mugged for a few bucks and his credit cards. He was too angry to die, though, and made a bargain with some higher power and came back as a walking corpse. He did things to these muggers that were so bad, they would've rather been in hell. Unfortunately, now he can't die and in order to break his bargain he must do good deeds. Gaia Username: mycatsareschizos Character Name: Whispers The Listener Age:23 Race:Human Ability (and flaw):Super-strength and Super-hearing but is blind Back Story:Born normal, her family sold her to necromancers, when she was seven,who were going to sacrifice her to their god, but instead of stealing her soul, the god saw her potential and gave her super-strength. The necromancers then tried to kill her, because they wanted her powers, and as she defended herself, one of them threw candlewax into her eyes, so she was blind. Because of her blindness, her other senses were enhanced, hence the super-hearing. Character Image/Description:  This is her!!!

Gaia Username: death_conqueror Character Name: Cecilia Age: 15 Race: Demon Ability (and flaw): To summon roses wherever she wants. She can trap her enemies, attack them, or create a barrier. But more roses she summons, her life energy is drained. Back Story: She was raised as a human child, with her demon parents acting as humans, until she discovered her power. When she was seven, she heard the roses talking to her. She thought that it was the fairies but her parents told her the truth when they heard the story. They tought her how to use her power and what can happen using the power. On her 14th birthday, they confessed that they only had few more days of lifespan. After her parents died, she was scouted to talent agency, and is currently working as a photo model, hiding her true identity. Character Image/Description:

(wow, i posted my character a while ago. so i guess i'll start rping.)The Listener lay on top of the church, her blank eyes staring up into the sky. A loud sound woke her up out of the trance she had fallen into. She jumped up and ran towards the sound, jumping from building to building with ease.(Now that i think about it, The Listener is a little like DareDevil. eek how weird)
