Julie’s Wolf Pack

This thread is for anyone who had read at least one of the Julie books. This thread is also open to anyone who either knows a lot about wolves, or wants to know more. I will also make a few exeptions to others who just love wolves.

Here’s a bit about the books:
 The first one, “Julie of the Wolves”, tells very much about wolves and Miyak (Julie)’s life with the wolves.
 The second one, “Julie”, doesn’t tell a lot about wolves, but is still important to the short series; it tells of Miyak’s life without the wolves, mostly.
 The third one, “Julie’s Wolf Pack”, probably tells the most about wolves, it tells of the Avalik’s journeys after Miyak’s left them.

In the profile that you send me, title it “Request to Join” and answer these questions: (Please include the questions.)
1. Why would you like to join?
2. Which, if any, Julie books have you read?
3. Give a fact that you learned from the book, if you read it.
4. Will you post often?
5. Will this be a learning experience for you?

21. If anyone bothers you in the thread, do not confront him or her on the thread. Report them to me and I will take care of it. If you do confront them, you shall be punished as well.
22. Do not beg for gold or items. This is one of the two the most annoying things a person can do.
23.Use 3rd person in role-play.

If you don't follow the rules or post at least once every 7 days, you shall be banned from this thread (unless you have a pretty good excuse).

*If you break the rules:
The severity of the action taken will depend on the rule broken, the first time you will be handed a warning for each time you break a rule. After three warnings, the mod will make a decision to either allow you to stay or ban you.

To start a pack you must have the minimum of 4 wolves for a pack, a name for the pack, ranks, and names of those who wish to join it pm me to make a pack.

-Betas (2nd in command)
-Fighters (fight or defend when trouble)
-Adventurers(Scouts, scout ahead for food or trouble)

-Healers (heal & give medicine to the injured or ill)
-Young (young of the group)
-Young-sitters (take care of the young while parents and the rest of the pack are gone)
- Omegas (the lowest members of the pack, even lower than pups, the youngest or newest members of the group)

~ANIMAL SOCIETY RULES~

1. Respect your Alpha Male and Alpha Female - don't answer them back if they snap at you unless you want to challenge them to a fight.

2. Omega are seen as a way of getting your own anger and frustration out on - they are the youngest or newest members of the group. You eat before them and come before them

3. Don't harm young unless you are putting them right, but you cannot harm them - separate rules apply to the Loners or other group members.

4. Fear the Alphas - they have the power to hurt you.

5. Work as a team to hunt and protect one another - Only loners fight and hunt alone.

6. Alphas lead everything. when in the hunt they signal when to go and when to stop.

7. It is up to the Lead Alpha if you may adopt young. and Omegas are the lowest, they are not allowed to have such an honor.

8. Only the alphas can have pups with each other. (but in this, you must have permission to have them from the alphas)

9. Humans are the enemy, harboring of any will result in being run out of the territory.

10. The Alphas/Betas/hunters/protectors are the rulers going by number rank (ex: first, second, third).

When you want pups, just skip mating & in about half a month you can have your pups.
The alpha, if you have one, must approve of you having pups before you do.
