A little bit about me:
So. I'm a 17-years old female. I attend to the Norwegian version of High School, the general studies-course. I want to become a teacher myself later, and this means I have to apply myself in all my subjects.
I spend most of my spare time playing music. I'm a huge band geek, and I also play in a symphonic ochestra. As this takes up most of my evenings (and it's not something I want to give up, having played for 10 years now), I'll have to squeeze in some work outs during the weekends.
My weight loss plan:
- I'm hereby officially cutting all sugar-y substances from my diet (chocolate, sodas, other candies)
- I will attend to max pulse-classes two times a week, and try to work out one or two times in addition.
- I don't know if this holds any significance, but I'm also trying CLA tablets. They're supposed to help balance the difference between fat and muscle in your body...
Current standings:
Starting weight: 86 kgs
Goal weight: 70 kgs
Current weight: 85 kgs
Weight loss: 1 kg
To go: 15 kgs
Additional information:
For some odd, practical reason, my weight week begins on Thursday morning.
Also, if you'd like to post comments, help or anything else for me here, you will be loved. heart

Week 1: (March 1st - March 8th)
Day 1:
I went to some form of mix between pulse aerobic and weight-training. I've never been to one of those before, and I got mad tired! 45 minutes of top intensity, that's got to pay off in some way...
To top that off, I attended the pilates class right after my aerobic/weight lifting class. I don't know if any of you have ever done pilates, but I'm telling you; my abdominal muscles got the training they've sorely neededd for quite some time!
Day 2:
So. I haven't been doing any heavy training today, as my arms and legs still hurt from yesterdays class. I did go shopping for an hour, but I don't know if that really counts as training. Also, I walked my dog for about 20 minutes (he's just had surgery, and can't take long walks just yet), but, as I currently have school vacation, I don't have to take the 30 minutes long (fast!) walk to school every day, and I don't get to do the more relaxed walk home either.
This was also my last day with sugar, and I only ate two pieces of 86 % cocoa - chocolate. Proud!
Day 3:
Alas, this day didn't go as planned at all! I started well, but then, some friends came over, we made muffins, and they started freaking out when I didn't want any. Soo, I was going to have just one, but within two hours, I'd eaten two muffins(with ICING!) and five pieces of milk chocolate...
And, seeing as my friends came, I didn't get to do any of the work out that I'd planned. I know, it seems like a lame excuse... But, I'm going to the gym tomorrow (another one of those extremely painful, but oh so calorie-burning pulse classes), so I guess that's something.
One small downfall isn't going to stop me from keeping to my diet inn the future, though!
Oh, and I sort of broke my own rules about weighing today... A few minutes ago, I stepped on to the scales to see how things were, and it looks as though I've gained nearly a kilo! I can't really understand this, but I think it might have something to do with the time of day it was. I mean, I normally weigh in in the morning, and it's nearly midnight here now. But, as the optimists always say; tomorrow's a new day!
And, if I don't start taking this weight loss thing seriously now, I'm going to regret it in a year or two!

I'll make the most of all the sadness...
Good luck! You already seem pretty well on track with exercise, which is probably one of my biggest problems lol
You'll be a b***h because you can.

As I said in another journal, it is normal for a tiny bit of weight gain when you are just starting out with extreme exercising. Your body is going through a confused period and it'll retain stuff until it gets used to what you are doing to it. Try not to worry too much, and I heard from a weight expert to weigh yourself about a half an hour after you have woken up, because that is the most accurate time for body weight.
Good luck, your exercise plan sounds tough but worth it!
