Allada Dust galloped around happily as she chased the shadows that clouds created. This was one of her favorite games to play when she was by herself and bored. Another was to see how fast she could run to a certain point, but today she felt as though cloud chasing would be fun. You can't always play it.
Allada shoke her mane as it blew in the breeze and slowed down, coming to a stop. She was getting tired of running around and just wanted to explore. Maybe she could go for a walk...

Ufo had had enough of this vile charade. Though he loved his son, Jack, very much, he could not tolerate the constant, smart-alecky tone that he always took as he spoke to his father. He had taken a keen liking to Dementia, the new foal that Ufo didn't trust at all... he had disappointed his father for the last time. "Conflibbed li'l wretch," he spoke to himself, plodding along at an inconsistant rate in the sands. "Oi'll teach'er 'o's son t'mess wiv."

Allada decided that going for a walk was exactly what she'd do. She started trotting down one of the usual paths she takes and saw a dark figure in the distance. It looked like a stallion, but the weird thing was that she swore that she heard him mumbling to himself. What is he saying? Allada wondered. From his tone, he didn't sound to happy.

Ufo gazed across the seemingly endless, empty sands, shifting his weight uneasily as some steady winds picked up. "Gurdblastin' wind..." he groaned, moving to some unstable shelter not too far off. Though the short tree provided a good sand barrier for his eyes, but his legs and stomach were pelted with increasing pain. "Oi 'ate th'wind..." he said to himself, turning his bum to face the direction in which the wind was blowing from.

Allada smiled and gave off a slight laugh. It was kind of intertaining watching this stallion groan about the wind. After all, to her it wasn't that bad. When there was sand along with the wind, you just needed to squint your eyes so you didn't get sand in them. Allada liked the wind especially when you wer in a field and could watch the tall grasses move like waves.
Now, Allada decided to go over and talk to this horse. Maybe figure out why he's so grumpy?
She trotted down to him where the little tree was. "Hello there. What seems to problem Sr.?" she grinned. Se already knew what the problem was. "You know... the sand isn't as bad when you have a buddy to help shield it." Allada remarked as she stood beside him. It helped a little with keeping the wind off your face.
