I didn't see any topics about Naito so I decided to post one.
Anyone ever heard of them?
If you have, what do you think of them?
Nightmare (ナイトメア, Naitomea) is a Japanese Visual Kei band. It should be noted that there was another Japanese band by the name of Nightmare, but they were a thrash metal band from the 1980s.
Formed in 2000, the lineup consists of Yomi on vocals, Sakito (咲人) and Hitsugi (柩) on guitar, Ni~ya on bass/cello, and Ruka on drums.
In August of 2003, Nightmare released their first major label single "-Believe-" on Nippon Crown (日本クラウン).
Nightmare's sound can be described as heavy rock with a strong bassline. The band's sound basically revolves around the deep vocals of Yomi. Sometimes they do slower rock songs like Suna, but usually their songs are fast and upbeat.
Nightmare's new single "the WORLD" is being used as the opening for the popular anime Death Note. The second track of the single, "Alumina" is used as its ending.

Yomi - vocalist
YOMI is vocalist of Nightmare and like many other Visual Kei bands, he is also the lyricist. He has an alter-ego named "Chiba". Calls himself a "Sukebe"; he often gets slapped when in an interview, or before Nightmare perform's live.

RUKA is the drummer of Visual Kei band Nightmare. He has an alter-ego, Gigaflare. When joining Nightmare he wanted to be the bassist, but Ni~ya was more talented with the bass than Ruka. He likes to lay his hand on Yomi's butt. He also likes to play with Yomi's "boobies" during interviews, play beats on Yomi's stomach, and let Yomi sit on his lap. His previous band is Luinspear, in which Jui from Vidoll was their vocalist. Kei from kannivalism is his best friend, and he likes to talk about Goto Maki Kei's ideal type of woman.

I've heard only a few of their songs, Akane for an example, and I think that they are pretty good. I mean, I wouldn't put them onto my top five. But they are definatly worth listening to.

Nightmare is okay...their music is hit and miss, but they're fun entertainers, have personality, and enjoy what they're doing.
I'm listening to their new album now, trying to decide if I like it or not ^_^;;

loves nightmare but doesnt get to listen to them very much and never really have, only a few songs that i wouldnt even be able to name >.< don't have any of their stuff and don't have time to look it up or space on my computer XD i have too much music already that i don't even get to listen to half of it

Ever since the fame brought by Death Note, Nightmare's one of the more well known VK-ish bands in Japan it would look like (despite the fact that Alice Nine was on the radio CONSTANTLY -_- alongsides the likes of Billy Joel and classic Madonna, go fig)
There were billboards all over Tokyo, special kiosks and apparently just a day ago, they did an open air promo show by one of the main Kyoto train stations...

They're not amazing but good. Most of their songs follow the same pattern from the previous song. Apart from that they have got the part of being a good band. Raven loud speak, listen to song released after and before it to hear a pattern. arrow exclaim
