my boyfriend's exgirlfriend keeps sending me threatening phone calls..... and apparently she is going to kick my a** tomorrow (saturday) but i'll be at a seminar stephen hayes is putting on at my dojo. (irnoic?) well my dad says to ignore it, my brother thinks i shoudl fight her, and i think i should tell my martial art teacher and get his opnion. this isn't some guy fight either. this is a GIRL fight over A MAN. alot more serious. it's like hte astronaut lady. women will do insane htings for guys. Quote: ok, so i guess people got the question wrong. what i want to know, is how to avoid a fight int eh first place, and get her to leave me alone. how do i do that?

If she attacks you, kick her a**. But don't start it.

Remember! You must always fight defensively! Let the fight come to you. Dont go to fight! If she attacks you, unleash the Shinden Fudo Ryu! (My fave).

talk to your master, but she approaches you, don't wait for her to hit you first go nuts, if you actually think she will attack you, you have every right to start it, you don't need to wait to be injured before you can defend yourself

Also, in a legal standpoint, if you let them hit first, you aren't liable for damage you then apply to their body.. cool

Still, preemptive action is risky.

I agree. The best way to win a conflict is to avoid the problem.
