They used to call me the walking dictionary in school.
Some still do.
Breaca is a celtic name, which was given as the real name of the Boudicca in a favourite book of mine. Breaca was taken, so it got changed to Breacca!
Maedhbh is also celtic, she was a goddess/queen and it means 'she who makes men drunk'... wink

my name here is from my email in college. i know, how completely original of me. nothing celtic here...
as for the nicknames, there are a couple of names that have come and gone over time, and now that they've gone, i'm keeping them away! biggrin
they were based on my last name, and i didn't really like them, so...that's all folks!

May is from the movie (just look at my profile). In high school I was called many things, from the daily dose of "weird" to Wednsday (from the Addams Family), Pscho Freshman from Hell, and Chimney Girl (I smoked a lot). As for Lita, her name came from Greek mythology--I dressed as her for a toga party and put swan feathers in my hair and passed out "Trojan" condoms to the guests as a gag gift. Lita was a maiden that caught Zeuss' eye and so he came down to the earth in the form of a swan and then had his way with her. A little beastiality education for Greek mythology lovers. lol

In school, most people just called me plain "char", short for charlene...
my gaia name is pretty obvious, I love slipknot, and like foxes as well.
Funny nicknames...lets see...I only know of one. Ronin always calls me s'mores and if you ask why I'll have to kill you.
I prefer just being called vixen or V if you must call me anything ^-~

well as for highschool, I never went to highschool... I did a correspondence course for highschool so no nicnames there. hrm... never got one in college either. As for my username, that dates back 10 years to when I first started doing online RPG of course that was on pure text only chat rooms. And I hate to admit it, but it was originally a pokemon chat room. But we turned it into a wolf RPG. Mercenary Omega was the human form of my wolf (blackwolfkahn the only other name I have EVER been known by online)
He eventually started a mercenary squadron known as the omega squadron which combined with the wolf theme lead to one of my favorite quotes for my character. "I am the Alpha of Omega. I am the First of the Last. I am the Begining of the End." (no that is not quoting scripture, but damn close)
After I left the Roleplay there, I started using this as my MSN, Yahoo, and AIM ID's as well as a LOT of other stuff. This name has by far stuck with me far more than my BlackwolfKahn title ever did, but It's uniquely mine as can be proved with a google search (yeah... that's a lot by me...)

Oh...am I too late? Well, too bad. I'm here now, and I'm going to say what I came to say. rofl
I don't really have any nicknames. No one ever dared give me one...except my uncle who called me Jack when I was little...no idea why though. mrgreen
My Gaia name is a combination. Kaizoku is Japanese for pirate...gotten from an anime I like...and Cred is Gaelic and pronounced Cree, which was to be my SCA name, but then we quit, so I never ended up using it. rolleyes

*recites like a kindergartener* *ahem* My Gaia name is a combination too. Since I'm Kai's crewmate, I'm also a Kaizoku. And the Marimo part...well...it's an anime reference too. And if you do an image search on what a marimo is...giggles...you'll know why I have green hair.

Ahem....I slept through high school and never made it passed 9th grade. So other than "Sleepy", I was called "Slob" due to the fact that I was the only gang member that wasn't a "Crip."
In real life all the kids call me, "Uncle Doh-Doh." A name given to me by my niece, when she first started learning how to talk. She could never say my whole name and always ended up saying "Doh-Doh."
My gaian name is quite obvious, "Dark" for the evil that which is me and "Ronin" which is my son's name. Which means, "A wandering samurai" or "A samurai with no master."
