I'm curious to know what this guild means to you? Obviously, it's a yuri and shoujo ai guild. It was started to discuss this genre of animation, manga, fiction, etc. But right now, what does it mean to you? What is this place about? What are you here for? What's your favorite part and why? Feel free to wax on poetic as much as you like. 3nodding

Well, personally I just hate how everywhere you go (every-where) people talk about yaoi/shonen-ai quite frequently and it's common place. Even here on the internet. But the minute you mention yuri or shoujo-ai they have no idea what you're talking about!

Here shoujo-ai is common place. It's not some ultra-obscure concept that as far as most people know doesn't exist. HERE IS PROOF! And I think it's a much needed source of proof for people who agree with me on the above.

A place where the obscure becomes the common. A place where you can talk about it and people will have adequate (often more than just) input for you. It is a place where like-minded people meet.

That is what I like about this guild. That is what it means to me.

For me it represents a place where I can find people who is respectful to your hobby because they have the same, it represents a place where I can relax, read and learn more about Yuri/Shoujo-Ai without having anybody looking at you like you are some sort of freak or pervert.

It's a place where I can meet new people and make new friends.

It's a community that allows me to be who I am.

For me this guild is a place where I can talk about shoujo-ai with others. I don't really know anyone else in person who is interested in shoujo-ai and who I can discuss it with.

I posted in one of the subforums, asking for a bit of guidance.

And people came to my aid, which I'm very thankful for.

And everyone here is very nice, and I really want to get to know some of the people here. I'm always looking for more people to be friends with, and everyone here is so friendly.

The picture forum is definately a plus. ;D

But mostly I love coming here to talk about things that interest me without people pouncing on me going "OMG QUEER."

also to get away from the narutards/omgyaoi girls/creepy mouthbreathe boys that seem to haunt the other anime guilds. D;

I think it's a place where I can meet friends that have the same interest as me. It's a place where I can go and talk about the things i like, without having to worry what people think of me, about me liking shoujo-ai/yuri, because everyone here likes it like I do! ^^ Plus the RPs and pictures I find are awesome too! It's great for a major RPer like me! lol!
