How come people pick on kid Gamers

I am a 13 year old gamer and everyone yells at me when I talk, so I have a habbit of not talking during games. I have never once called someone crap or even cussed and I know many kid gamers who are like me, so why do people still yell at us.

you know I really don't think anyone hates you heres just my opinion but people probaly yell at you when there in a group becuase they think the other people will mock you

xD thats why i love little kids playing M rated games. and as for me, i'm a 16 year old and not many people mock me. but there are some possible reasons why 'idiots' pick on little kids:
1) He's a 40 year old who lives in his mother's basement so likes making little kids' life a living hell
2) He's too full of himself and has a huge ego and hates sissy screaming or if a little kid chainsaws the dude the dude would probably say "WTF F*** U YOU F***ING HACK HAXORZZZZ HAXORZZZZZZZZZ"
3) theres always the 'send a complaint' option where if someone uses vulgar language, file a complaint and let microsoft deal with him.
4) And last but not least, the good ol' Ignore button

As for me i have nothing against little kids playing. hey more easier kills for me biggrin xD

I don't hate kid gamers, but most of them are chatterboxes. Well, same with 18-year-olds but kid gamers are a bit worse.

The only time i have ever told a kid to just shut the hell up was when some 8 year old was cursing up a storm.
After he told me i could basically go F**k myself I said that his mother was going to be cross when i told her, and his father was going to beat him for swearing... the kid remained silent, nothing like the fear of parents to set a kid straight

I know one "kid" on Gears of War who kicks all sorts of tail, and he oddly doesn't get too much crap for it. It doesn't matter how old you are, though, since you'll be hated for doing a lot of things...Mostly because the person who's yelling at you will never see you face-to-face.

I like people like you.
It's just those other annoying kids that cuss and scream at you every 2 seconds.
It really ruins the reputation for kid gamers.
Some people just don't deserve their Xbox.
But, you learn to live with it.

Im a girl gamer. And because I'm a girl, I don't get made fun of >.<
most of the time..cause my mic makes me sound like a little ******** boy on the 360.

And I luff the little kids, except when they just don't know when to shutup. But other than that I have nothing against them.

They only hate kid gamers because they are chatetrboxes. Especially whe they play M games (especially Saint's Row) Kid gamers are mostly picked on in M games because they are not for kids. The age is 17+ so of course they will get picked on and say "Go back play Viva Pinata." and stuff like that. So really is not kid gamers. It's the kid gamers that don't know how to behave in M games.

But this goes to us adults too. There are some that are just as bad as chatter kids. Being a kid gamer has nothing to do with it. As someone mentioned already, this ruins their reputation. I know alot of kid gamers that kick a**.
