He drove her to the harbor,a large ship called the Star Heaven.it was a luxury ship that had been converted into a floating restaurant.Pulling up he got out and went to Jade's side opening the door for her"Here we are"He said motioning to the ship"tonight's a special,their holding an opera in the forward area"

Jade stepped out slowly and smiled. "Its wonderful." she said in awe. "You didnt need to go through so much trouble for me..." She blushed a little.

Of course I did"He said kissing his hand"I did it for you"He lead her past the rows of cars and mingled into the crowd"Having you ever been on a dinner ship before?"He asked pushing his way through the crowds finally making it to the ramp,beneath them lights light up the water showing schools of fish swarming by.

Jade blushed and hugged him. "No..." she said. "It is beautiful." She watched the fish swim by. She held on his arm and smiled.

How he treasured that smile of her's,taking her up the ramp into the ship the first thing to reach them was the music,soft italian music playing,the walls were red with black velvet drapped over them,it smelled of rich delicious food,coming to the waiter he smiled"Two please,and we'd like a table outside so we can enjoy the starlight please"He said pulling Jade close enough that he could wrap an arm around her waist

He breathed in the scent of her hair as his lips past her cheek and locks"This way"he whispered following their waiter out onto one of the many balconies that had been laid out,streams of light cast a soft glow over the tables which were laid out with silk and candles,the silverware gleaming in the light.He pulled the chair out for her after pulling away,the ship was preparing to move,the last of the crowd coming onboard

He sat pushed in her seat and sat down"No...not when it's compared to you"he said leaning across to take her hands in his"Your beauty puts everything else to shame"He whispered,a slight shudder when through the ship as it pulled out of the harbor and into the river,the woodland began to pass by

"I'm just telling the truth"He whispered looking over the menu,"Find anything you like?"He asked watching a swarm of fire flies on the shore,a large elk was by the river,drinking

Jade looked at the elk and fireflies. She looked at the menu and smiled. "I think some spegetti and a small side salad..." she said softly.

"I'll have the pasta with sauce"He said handing the waiter his menu"and the lady and I will have some sparkling cider to drink"the man nodded,back inside the band had finished tuning and began to play,the stars shone brightly above them,matching the light in her eyes"Are you having a good time?"He asked relaxing,it would be a bit before their meals arrived
