Ok, so my friends and I wanted to do something special so we decided to go see this fancy ballet, Merlin, at this fancy place, The Capitol Thing is, we're not fancy people at all, lol We had to buy fancy outfits (I had to buy a skirt stare ) since we could not go there with jeans and hoodies and t-shirts xp It's next Thursday, the 15th, so I'll tell you all about it after!
Discuss: Weird impulsive stuff you do with your friends You opinion on fancy people and fancy clothes Should I make fart noises during the show? whee

I like fancy clothing, but the problem with fancy clothing is that I never go anywhere to wear such clothing.
You'll have to tell us all about it, I'm a theatre-person heart

Alright guys sry for the delay but here's how it went
The place was really beautiful, it's a restored theatre so it has an awesome style It was my first ballet so it took me a while to get used to it. Like seriously, ballets need subtitles lol The one thing I did not like were the costumes, you could see they hadn't put much budget on it... Hum... I don't really know what else to say... Ask me stuff! ^-^
Oh... and we didnt make any fart noises... But we couldn't stop laughing when a blonde russian guy came in in the tightest tighs EVER! xd

That's a sad thing... One of the best parts of a performance is the costumes! I love the costumes and the setting, which brings up this question: What was the setting like?
I've never been to a ballet, only a couple Broadway musicals, so I don't really know what they're like in terms of set, etc.

Well since it was the Ballets of the Atlantic they did not have an enormous budget lol. The setting was pretty basic but turned out really well. There was a simple backdrop of like the sky and a kind of lake. It was a little dark and more like shadows... Kinda hard to explain.... On the stage there was 4 pillars that were used as trees, columns, doors and then the walls of a cave. I thought it was really clever.
