If it wouldn't have been for more pups growing up so suddenly Beatrice would have almost forgotten to give her twizzler friend what she had wanted to give her since valentines day. When she acts usually figured out what valentines meant in the first place. Friendship and then other things that she may not be to exact on.
She bounced out of her house having her little dino almost after her. But she closed the door and from the door she said. "Nopes. Not today. I am meeting up with friend. Yes. Yes." The little Dino rawared in some irritation but he knew that she had her friends and he had his... duckling.
As she bounced off to the hill where she had been sleeping off to as usually. Hoping she'd find one of her friends wondering by. Rather. She wanted her licorice friend to stop by soon.

Licorice squealed as she went rolling head over feet down a hill of coconut flakes, barely avoiding hitting a candy cane on her way down. She yelped when she finally slid to a stop and leapt to her feet to look around frantically, hoping no one saw that humiliating spectacle. Relieved, Licorice started back up the hill only to wince and sit down, glancing back at one of her wings. "Must have rolled on it..." she murmured, licking at the sore spot tenderly.

Beatrice's ears moved forward. Then back, then to the side hearing what seemed to be a sweet voice. She knew then and there who it was. She got to her paws and bounced away happily to where the voice was coming from.
When she looked. It was as she knew her friend. Since she was the opposite way she sneaked up with her stealthy paws and covered the other's eyes.

"Yeee!" Licorice squealed when she was suddenly blinded, flipping her tail. "Wh-Who's there? She sniffed the air to try to determine if she knew whoever it was, and her ears perked up at a familiar scent. "Beatrice?" Licorice abruptly forgot about her sore wing, elated that her friend had come to see her again.

Uncovering the other's eyes she greeted the other with a bright and humble smile. "Yes You guess correct!" She said with a soft and hyped voice. She herself almost squeeled from the experience. She grabbed her arms around the numas petite body and laughed. "I missed yea friend!" She giggled softly. She had really missed seeing friends around for quite a while and especially this one who she knew she was friends with. She wrapped her tail around the other as well.
She was in pure bliss now. Before she forgot she snuggled her paw through her feathers searching then bringing out a sack. She looked at the other numa with her black eyes.

Licorice cheered and hugged Beatrice back happily. "I missed you!" she declared, literally wiggling against her from excitement. "How have you been?" Licorice gently pawed at the feathers of Beatrice's wings as she talked and nuzzled her neck to breathe in her scent. She blinked curiously at the bag Beatrice produced though. "What's that?"

"I have been well. I missed you a lot as well. And its good see you. I dont so my friends very often." She returned the look with a soft smile.
"And this? This is present. Small. Because most all my time was spent making presents for Christmas and Fire. Though I made little presents...I try harder next time if i have time." The bag she had, she untied the knot holding it together in her paw to reveil little heart shape lollipops, candy canes that were white and black, twizzlers that were white and black, then a big lollipop with black and white designs on it. Then under all the candy there was something that sparkled. Beatrice didn't want to acknowledge it to make it a surprise. She quickly tied it back up and held it in one paw as the other snuggled against her neck. She purred.
It was the first time someone has done that. This gave her some suprise in such an event that her white cheeks flushed a tint of red. Cherry red to be exact. She curled her tail around the other and nuzzled back happily.
"I-I hope you like." She managed to say between snuggles.

Licorice squealed with delight at seeing all of the lovely goodies in the bag, bouncing a little. "I love it! Did you make them yourself?" she chirped happily before blinking and drooping her ears back a little when she came to a realization. "I don't have anything for you though!" That was a little upsetting - she would have loved to give her friend a present though she was not quite sure what Beatrice would like.
Licorice tilted her head at the purring noise, surprised, and tried to mimic it, making a cross between a cough and a groan in her throat for a moment before she managed to figure it out, purring in response to Beatrice. It felt funny and tickled her throat.

Noticing her friend's struggle with the purr she did it again and this time licking the other's cheek happily wagging her tail.
"Hm? Im thanksgiving. I dont recieve." She said tilting her head to meet the other's. "Don't feel bad if you have nothing for me. Its a present and I didn't want anything back." She giggled softly. "Besides. Im just glad you like it. I made them myself. Except for the lollipops. They came from my tree that I sleep in." She nodded; proud of what her tree produced.

"It's all wonderful!" Licorice squealed and hugged Beatrice again, taking the bundle happily. "You may not expect anything in return, but I'll do my best to get you something anyway!" She nodded at this statement to show she meant it. "You're my friend, and I want to give you a present too!" Licorice licked Beatrice's cheek and tried purring again, a little better at it this second time.

"Ah... I see now." She nodded towards her friend. "Well. Standing her wont accomplish much. Shall I see how you fly? Did you get any better?" She said with a smile eagered to know. Her tail wagged all feather like trailing after her. She really wanted to give everyone something. All her friends. But she knew if she would. Itd take her all night and all days to figure what they would want.
"I dont deserve presents." She mumbled to herself walking some up the hill.

"Of course you do!" Licorice insisted, licking Beatrice's cheek once more. "You're wonderful - why wouldn't you deserve presents?" She blinked at the subject of flying and blushed, looking back at her wings. "No...I'm still really bad at it, and...I think I hurt one of my wings." It was only sore at first, but now it was really beginning to hurt.

"WHAT!? Y-Your wing!?! Whats wrong!?" She said nervously and picked up the other; trying to balance herself out. "Ah. Ah. We take to doctor yes!?" She said lunging her over her back and going back on all fours. She curled her wings to balance the numa on top of her. "Your wings!? You must take good care of them. They are lots of responsibility. And if you no careful they will break. And you won't want that." She talked from experienced but very nervous.

Licorice squeaked as she was tossed onto Beatrice's back, startled. "I-It hurts, but I don't think it's bad..." she stammered to try to calm her friend down. "I was chasing a chocolate bunny up the coconut, and I slipped..." She blushed, embarrassed. "I rolled down the hill, and I must have rolled on my wing too..." Licorice looked back at the sore wing and winced. It was bruising though it did not look too bad.
