I've always wondered where LazyTown is located. It can't be in Iceland. This is for a couple reasons. The first one being the main reason!!!
1.Stephanie arrived in LazyTown by train. There are no railroads in Iceland. Therefore LazyTown could not be in Iceland.
2. #9 was said to have come from an island in the north sea. That island has to be Iceland. It wouldn't make sense to say that he came from Iceland to Iceland (if LazyTown was in Iceland). Unless he came from Grimsey. That would almost make sense if not for the first reason.
I read in Wikipedia that in an upcoming episode of LazyTown, more of the mystery behind #9 will be revealed.

I heard they were talking about revealing #9's backstory and whatnot in a new live action show. But that's just rumour, so... >>;

I always picture LazyTown as being somewhere in the US. No idea where, because the smallness of the town combined with weather and topography doesn't fit anywhere I can think of. But I picture the US because Stephanie's actress is from New York. But I think we're safe in saying it's somewhere in the western hemisphere.
Thinking US also makes it easier to write fan fiction. But that's just me.

I'd agree with that. US has trains, and is known for being lazy. It fits perfectly. Hell, they even refer to the "president of the country" sometimes. That's what America calls their head of the country, so it is in the running. *nod*

Though why Icelandic elves are hanging out in the US of all places, I don't know. >.>

xD it's their job. And maybe America is just in more trouble than anywhere else. I mean, It's gone from "the President" to "our leader" and back to our "the president" again. THE US IS IN DANGER OF BEING TAKEN OVER BY A FACIST DICTATOR. Oh dear god. D:

Yeah, but didn't Milford refer to the leader of the country as a "she" in "My Treehouse"? It was actually my friend who pointed this out, so I don't know for sure...but it did sound like he said "she."

Hmm. Interesting. Never thought too much about #9. I bet there's fanfiction about it somewhere, though.
I dunno...LazyTown's probably in the U.S. somewhere.
And the reference to Iceland...
Difficult to say. I'm not sure where LazyTown is.
Somewhere on this continent, perhaps. Dunno.
