Easy: Dameon.
He's so reliable, and such a good friend to Elspeth. Elspeth holds back her emotions from everyone else - but when it comes to Dameon, she relies on him, to be able to collapse from all the hardships the world (and Rushton razz ) put her through. He's her rock.
And he sees (no pun razz ) the world on an entire different level - not with his eyes, but with emotion. It'd be an awful and same time wonderful way to see people, animals, the world, etc.

Hmm, I really felt sympathy for Jik. He was so small and cute (in my mind anyway) and then he had to go and die in a firestorm. I cried when I read that.
Brydda's my favourite character. He's so... I dunno, there's something about him. I wouldn't call him the comic relief or anything, but there's something about his character that makes me laugh.
Also, Garth, Jak and Swallow.

Zekidi Hmm, I really felt sympathy for Jik. He was so small and cute (in my mind anyway) and then he had to go and die in a firestorm. I cried when I read that. I know!! There's something so vulnerable about Jik, I bawled my eyes out when they found him dead in Farseekers...he didn't deserve to die sad Quote: Brydda's my favourite character. He's so... I dunno, there's something about him. I wouldn't call him the comic relief or anything, but there's something about his character that makes me laugh. Brydda is such a complex and brilliantly devised character - he's so strong, so powerful, but so humble at the same time. I always say the best characters in novels (IC or otherwise) are the ones where you'll know how they'd respond to a situation - because that's just the way they are. That's what Brydda's like to me - he's so real. Quote: Also, Garth, Jak and Swallow. Heartily agree actually - though Dameon is still my ultimate fave - but anyone who's a teknoguilder (or a hot gypsy prince) rocks mrgreen Garth makes me laugh so much...

Teknoguilders are so downplayed, but I can't help but love them! Their talents are just so, well they make me go wow at least. The city under Tor was an excelent part of the series, I reckon. And who found it? Garth and his team, of course whee

(Elspeth and co. found the city under Tor when escaping from the Druid's camp - though it was Garth and his team who spent the most time there escavating!) I loved the city under Tor bits in TKP as well. What's with Louis Larkin hanging around with them all of a sudden too, I wonder?

Hmmm...I think my favourite was Brydda. He was just a real nice guy and quite funny. He was a great rebel leader in my opinion and really helped the misfits. I like the big, gruff, fatherly figures biggrin They're always so nice to the main characters even if they start off not liking each other.
I also like Rushton and Galatha (does he count? I think he should, just because he's a horse doesn't mean he doesn't count!)
