Anyone recently read a book? Please put books in this thread that you think is a must read. Put the genre, etc.
My sister's currenty reading Twilight by Stephanie Mayer.
Its also a vampire novel, she's really into those. Also there's a second book called New Moon.

My goodness— I don't know what's wrong with me lately but I've been obsessed reading this old historical romance book called Mightnight Warrior. I meant to put it down so I could read it more slower. And yes I did. .. why am I telling this? gonk

I am really enjoying the Demonata series. The storys are great and the endings are even better. The best one so far has been 3 even though it started slow once it got out of that it was blood, gore and demons all the way. whee I can't way for the 5th book Blood Beast to come out.

I have no idea what book that is but I'm going to research it. The title's not even familiar to me. Sounds like it has a lot of violence in it. <_< Maybe I'll check it out.

Two I'm reading right now are Maximum Ride and Pendragon. They're both fantasy and si/fi-ish. They're pretty funny too especially maximum ride. Hope that helps ^^

I've just read all three of The Bartimaeus Trilogy. Nice books. They've got a little of everything. A little humor, a little action, a little romance if you look close enough...

i love the Dark Elf and Icewind Dale trilogies, written by R.A. Salvatore. it's Fantasy/Fiction. i loved the books.

Stellalynn I've just read all three of The Bartimaeus Trilogy. Nice books. They've got a little of everything. A little humor, a little action, a little romance if you look close enough... i actually just got the first book of the series. hopefully its as good as you say it is. Lanfaer i love the Dark Elf and Icewind Dale trilogies, written by R.A. Salvatore. it's Fantasy/Fiction. i loved the books. i've read those books. i thought they were good too. as for my own recomendations i loved the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K Hamilton and the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. Both series are fantastically written.
