She smiles even when she is broken
Her eyes haunted within
Standing tall and strong
She just continues to breathe out and in

He ended up being her kryptonite
When she wanted her superman
But the cape never appeared
He just happened to be the lying man

Superman was all fake
Now she turns to her own place
Smarter now from what had happened
Her nickname should be ace

Life will continue on
So will she with her head held high
Her back straight and her eyes forward

Never even giving him a passing glance
Her feet are moving forward once again
Attractions never go father then hello
She hides from the whispers in her den

Broken and shattered she is
But she is stubborn and strong
