I mean, just what the christ on this one. Possibly the NEATEST limit break, and decent damage, better then average magic power...but really, a robot cat controlling a mecha-big fat moogle? Also: what's the name of the guy at the controls? He looks so awesome in Dirge...

Cait Sith is an interesting character, especially in DoC. I absolutely loved the Scottish accent! xd

One thing take confused the crap outta me with his accent though was. Reeve's doesn't have a Scottish accent... and Reeve's controls Cait Sith. And I was confused even more in DoC when Cait Sith and Reeve's talked to each other and Cait Sith wondered around without Reeve's controlling him.

It's 'cause Cait Sith, it seems, is his own entity all together.
He relays messages and videos to Reeve, but Reeve doesn't control him, I suppose. He's just like a robot, but without controls. He has his own AI, I guess.
That's what I've thought.

Yeah, but throughout the game the co. talks to Reeve's directly through Cait Sith.

Partially because of an inside joke among friends of mine involving poking somebody in the eye, them dropping a candy out of their pocket, and them being dubbed 'Vending machine' and spending the rest of the year yelling 'I AM NOT A VENDING MACHINE' I can see it now. Yuffie sneaking up behind Cait, hand about to grab it's head when it turns around and yells 'I AM NOT A TELEPHONE!' That being said, I do like the AI/Telephone idea, and will now make this into a Cait Sith/Reeve thread

The accent Cait Sith had is probably due to his voice being transmitted, and in Cait is probably a voice changer. It'd be pretty stupid if they'd already met Reeve and knew his voice, then heard the exact voice from Cait. It would be stupid. Also, we have voice changers now, so why wouldn't they have them then?
Also, I though he had an Irish accent?
The AI thing is probably right, since in DoC Reeve and Cait fight together in a small cutscene in the headquarters, where Vincent goes to help them and Cait is heard shouting, and then a soldier flys out of the room, slamming into the wall, and Cait comes out, followed by Reeve.
It might have been something he programmed into it to defend itself and do certain things due to certain situations it is in. Though I think he controlled Cait when Cait investigated Deepground...
