Deep within the depths of the seventh realm, sits a grand forest. Thriving and wild, the forest remains virtually untouch by outside beings. Creatures both predator and prey roam these woods in survival. The forest glows with the mists of the day, sparkling with glory; however, the most entrancing aspect of the forest is the pond that sits amongst it. A rare thing to be sure, for the pond, like everything else about the forest is quite possible alive...
How is this possible?...if only we knew all the answers...

*FURY stops his training briefly, to study the forest that has become his home. The beauty, the magnificence, the sheer awe of the forest weighs heavily upon his mind. Drawn forward, he drops to a comfortable seat near the pond, and studies it's calm tranquility...*

Julia wanders around in the woods nonchalantly. She sighs heavily, "I don't see why I need to constantly do run-throughs of these woods...I mean if there was anything wrong I'd sense it," she said out loud pushing a giant vine out of her way...

*FURY approaches the glade hidden within the forest, seeking a comfortable seat at it's edge. Seeking the emptiness within, he searches the pools depths for answers to his many questions...*

Julia continues her careless rumage around the forest until she sees Fury sitting at the edge of the pond. She stares for a moment empathetically, continues her walk and then shouts over, "Just because you want to know doesn't mean it'll tell you." She continues walking then adds, "Oh, by the way Fury, I'd ber mindful not to fall in if I were you, or get too close for that matter..." Julia walks off into the woods feeling her warning was sufficient not to have to stay and watch.

Mikira strode into the glade, and heard Julia's voice calling out a warning to Fury. Walking forward, and remembering Julia's warning, she sat down a bit farther away from the pool than Fury, slightly across from him.

*Ignoring Julia's biting sarcasm, Fury senses Mikira's presence near the pool. Not taking his gaze from the deep, dark pool he speaks.* have you ever contemplated the meaning of existence? Ever wondered why you are what you are where you are? I spend a great deal of time on this subject, yet have never found a satisfactory answer. Any thoughts? *At this, FURY looks up, his piercing gaze directed at Mikira seeking her response...*

Mikira met Fury's gaze, her eyes not betraying any emotion. "In fact," she began softly, "it's a matter which I've thought about quite often, and...I've also never been able to find an answer that satisfies myself." She hesitated for a moment, about to say more, but shook her head slightly, deciding against it. She returned her gaze to the watery depths of the pond, eyes slowly trailing over every inch of it, yet, she knew that she wasn't looking for specific answers. She let her gaze rest on a certain part of the pond, and focused her attention on that particular spot for a few moments, before returning to her aimless scrutiny of the pond.

FURY looks away from Mikira, a thoughtful expression on his face. IT IS A QUESTION THAT HOUNDS ME EVERY WAKING SECOND. I DO NOT KNOW WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT, ONLY THAT IS IS. I CONTINUE TO SEARCH, CONTINUE TO FIGHT, CONTINUE TO HOPE. BUT... I..." At this, FURY falls silent as well, also returning his gaze to the calm center of the pool. YOU ARE ONE WHO SEES MUCH, DESPITE THE FACT THAT YOUR AGE DENIES THIS POSSIBILITY. ONE SUCH AS YOU IS RARELY SEEN, MUCH LESS HEARD WITH THE RESPECT THAT IS YOUR DUE. I THANK YOU FOR JOINING ME HERE, WITHIN THE GLADE. PERHAPS, WITH YOUR INSIGHT ADDED TO MINE, THE ANSWERS WE SEEK WILL NO LONGER ELUDE US..." FURY returns to his silent contemplation, an attitude of contentment obvious upon his countenance...

Mikira looked up at Fury, slightly surprised at his words. "Was...that just a complement?" she wondered. She watched him for a few more moments, before returning her attention to the pond. "Yes," she said softly, "I hope that you are correct, and we will indeed be able to find the answers that we have been searching for."

With a soft sigh, Mikira rose from her spot by the pool, brushing herself off. "Well, I think that I'll be heading back to Mount Blanche now." Turning, she added, "I was basically here to visit, anyways..." With a wave, she strode off into the forest, in the direction of Mount Blanche.

Deymian steps off the horse he'd been riding for a countless number of days, at the edge of shining yet, dark forest. Seeing as it was almost dark he decided to rest at the forest's threshold. After seting up camp and trying to hunt for a bit, he came back to discover that his horse had wandered into the primeval backwoods.
