Sort of...but I am moving to the East side, lol.
This coming week I will be in the process of moving. This coming week-end I will actually be in my new house. I've rented a 1-bedroom "crack shack" as I call it, that's closer to work, closer to church, and even only a hop-skip-and-a jump away from my gym. Best part: It's not Mom and Dad's house.
It's a cute little house that was built in 1926, with sweet old fashioned closets in the bedroom (the kind with the little turny-latches), an vintage 1960's stove in the kitchen and no drawers in the kitchen cabinets. Heh, that's the rub, lol, no drawers!!! WAAAH!! The not-so rub? The rent is only $235 a month and Bob didn't make me pay a security deposit (probably cause he's just starting on this landlord thing). The backyard is fenced... and huge, big enough to put a small kitchen-garden back there so I can have fresh veggies this summer. There are also two Mimosa trees in the front yard---I love Mimosas. My grandmother had two in her yard on the farm when I was growing up and the pink cotton ball flowers smell like perfume. Only one of them is still kicking it, (grandma's trees, not the ones in my new yard) and she's been gone for a few years now unfortunately, but next to magnolias (hard to grow in Oklahoma) they are probably the prettiest thing I can think of to have in the yard. I'm excited... and a little scared, but I think the time is right.
I don't know when/if I'm getting the cable and internet turned on. I haven't called them yet. If they want some sort of deposit, I'm S.O.L. because of all the OTHER deposits people who haven't had utilities before in Enid have to pay, so I may be out of pocket for a bit. I will still be able to come over to Mom and Dad's house, but it won't be as often. (I will be to busy running about my new home in my underwear thrilled with the ability to do it, tee hee) If you need me... like spiritual emergency need me, pteriax firebringer (who is honestly just as good as myself on these things) and wings of aegis both have my cell phone #. I do not have another phone, lol, and I will probably not answer it if I am work or church...but if I get a phone message from one of you I will call you back. There are a few others on gaia who have my phone number, but those two I will *hopefully be in contact with on a regular basis, so I'm more comfortable using them as my contact person. Tom also has my work number, but you better have green pea soup making a fountain out of your best friend's face before you call me there. smile

Well, the fee is riduculous for cable/internet but it is do-able, lol, so I will have net the day after I get in there...
But I have another problem. I was chatting up a dead-guy friend of mine (strictly speaking, not a ghost, because he is one of the blessed dead, he just visits me once in a while.) while I was cleaning out my refridgerator (it had been in my granny's barn for a long time) at my new house. I got finished with what I was doing that night and I went to "show" Mike (Dead guy) the bedroom. He pointed out that we had company and for the first time since I've been coming over there I had a full body shiver go up one side and down the other. Well, I told him i had something I wanted to ask him once we get out of the house (cause I figured the current tenant weren't too friendly) and once I got out, I asked Mike (he was a priest in life) if he'd help me with the house blessing/cleansing once I got in there.. Then I heard a rather irrate voice reply, "you won't get rid of me that easy, you b***h!!"
So basically instead of house blessing, it's been upgraded to full blown house exorcism. I've done this before but I've been kind of low in the faith department lately, so it will be a lot harder than usual. AHHHHHH... as for what it is, Mike is of the opinion that is demonic in the sense that it is the result of a build up of bad energy from nasty things happening in the house.... pretty nasty build up if it's sentient enough to speak.

Ahhh, best of luck to you! I'm so lucky I haven't had issues like this. My grandmum's house was 'energy-printed' negative, but that was before I was born, and it's better now. And I only have done very minor house cleansings before. I think my room alone scares all the not-so-nice spirits away. Looks like those 75+ rocks and crystals lying around my room might be doing well. twisted

Ahh... hmm, good luck. I shall pray for a successful cleansing on your new house. Good luck with the rest of the aspects of the move.
((And on a side note, look! *not to make a spectacle or anything* There is no hostility emanating from Wings' post. Good thing, too, the past few posts have had subtle though still present undertones of slightly irritated hostility. smile Something says that you two will at least have an "armed neutrality" soon and both be quite tolerant of each other and the past. And I'm pretty sure on this, I'm good at reading people.))

Better safe than sorry, right wink You trying to tell me the answer won't be: "Kill it for training purposes"? I don't know what it is, to be honest- I'm too small, remember? But just in case, I send you reinforcements for your reinforcements. Could be an easy kill, could be a big angry thing what needs some very firm throttling, but I wanted to make sure you're safe, whichever the case.
