What is everyone's plan for this spring? Easter is big, really big for me, so I'll be doing that- what about everyone else?

I don't celebrate Easter but I do celebrate spring. This Easter I worked so we did nothing. I made a spring dinner for my family, dyed eggs, did some spring cleaning, planted flowers and took the dogs out to the park.

Some celebration can be as simple as mindfulness. So often we walk through life oblivious to what is around us. As someone who is pretty Nature-centered, I celebrate the seasons through being more mindful of them than most. I watch the squirrels in the backyard every day. And the birds too. I watch the leaves every day, and each day notice them unfurling a little more, a little more. I watch the buds of flowers form. I watch them bloom with their radiant colors. I listen to the sound of the wind. I watch the clouds, admire their texture and color. I watch the last few leaves from fall still clinging on and wonder when they'll at last detach from the branches.
