Hokay, my fellow CSI-guilders, I've got a little problem. I'm planning on going to Otakon again this year, and I've decided that I want to do a cosplay. What I chose is one of Dinah's dresses from Bizenghast. The actual material part of the dress probably isn't going to be a problem. What I'm having trouble with is finding the bones that will go in it. Yep, bones. This particular dress is covered with over 400 bones (counting all the fingers used on it as single units rather than three seperate bones each) and finding a place to supply them is proving to be...not very much fun. So I ask you, please, HELP! If anyone here knows of any place I can get a large number of plastic or foam bones relatively cheaply, or a low- cost way that I can make a large number of decent quality bones to use, please, please let me know.

get a some sort of plaster mix and white/beige paint. get yourself a mold, which you could make or buy at a halloween or costume shop relatively cheaply. make your bones. it'll probably run you about $100 just because of the amount of plaster you;d need.

Thanks, that sounds like a pretty good idea, but it seems like it might end up being awfully heavy. I could try it, though.
