Oh congrats Bonjour! *just notived that you won* xD

Bari'ah roamed around aware of others. She kept herself on gaurd in case she would for some reason have to defend herself. Sand burried her feet and today seemed to be only a little cooler than yesterday. She didn't understand how anything could grow in this land with so much sand.

Eidola glanced at Smokey, then turned her gaze to look over her surroundings. Catching sight of Bari'ah, she flicked her ears forward and uttered a whinny of greeting.

Smokey snorted in response to Eidola's glance, flicking her tail up over her haunches. The other mare's whinny caught her off guard, and she laid her ears back before turning to look at what had caught her attention.

Bari'ah looked over. At first she was a bit hesitant to do or say anyhting back, expecially after seeing Smokey's face. She snorted but then neighed a hello back to the other. She trotted over bravely to investigate more.

The look that Eidola cast toward Smokey was clearly a warning to behave. The Arab mare didn't care to have her darker mustang counterpart ruining any chance of conversation that day. Then she looked toward Bari'ah once more and stepped forward to greet the other mare.

Once more Smokey snorted, not caring to be bossed around by Eidola. The two were almost of a size, and a fair match. Their personalities were opposing, but mostly got along, even if the grullo mare wasn't overly enthusiastic about it. But today she obliged her companion, flicking her ears forward to show interest as Bari'ah approached.

Bari smiled. "Hello." she said confidently. They seemed nice. At least for now. She still didn't let her gaurd down...She never did. She had been taught different. She thought of other things to say but they wouldn't come out of her mouth. She waited calmly for a reply.
