Today I happened to catch Lazytown by chance (woot!) and saw the episode Pixel TV. Trixie was doing her little talk show segment and Rob was going on about how interesting he was, and when Trixie objected he started jumping up and down on her chair. I immediately thought "omg Tom Cruise on Oprah!?" eek rofl

Did anyone else catch this or am I reading too much into it?
Also, what other pop culture references have you noticed in Lazytown?

Unfortunately, Robbie doesn't have lightning fingers. rofl

There was the King Kong bit at the end of the episode too. I thought it was funny that Pixel didn't seem too distressed about a giant gorilla on top of his house.

Oh yes. 3nodding I noticed that too. I'd have to watch it again to get all the pop culture references out of there, but the Tom Cruise thing and King Kong were definitely there. I loved the episode for that alone.

I won't see that episode for a few days. My DVR won't let me record it before it airs, obviously.

That *does* sound similar, though...

I found a video of Tom Cruise jumping on the couch and singing Big Gay Al's song from the South Park Movie. He was wearing shiny short shorts.

I can't wait to watch that episode of LT. I bet it's going to be awesome.

It's one of my favourites of the new season ( I bloody missed Little Sportacus, one of my obvoiusly gonna-be-favourites, 'cause the damn TiVo forgot to tape... )

My DVR recorded Little Sportacus already.

I watched Defeeted today. It was...odd.

But I laughed at the end. Robbie got OWNED. xd
