I watched this movie while I was playing hookey from school! It was totally worth it to miss school for it. I was laughing so hard when Hedley Lamarr (played by Harvey Korman) walked out of the theatre at the end and said "s**t!". I love that guy to no end. I also love the fact that the governor (played by Mel Brooks) never knew what was going on. God, I love that movie.

I actually need to watch that movie again. I only saw bits and parts, so I need to brush up on the Blazing Saddles lore.

I need to watch it again. Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks, and Harvey Korman were making me laugh too hard in that movie.

Yes, he and Gene Wilder's character made me crack up laughing. You know what? I need to find YouTube videos for some of these movies.

Gene Wilder has the most GORGEOUS blue eyes I have ever seen on a man.
But I digress... My favorite line is probably: "For my next impression, Jesse Owens!" Just because not too many of my friends get that reference. I use it a lot. Particularly when I've just insulted someone and I'm about to break into a run. xd

Oh dear... Jesse Owens... the track star. How funny! I finally get it because I just learned about him two days ago.

I love Madeline Kahn's character of the 'TIRED' stripper. That song was GREAT! It made me laugh very much.

Tell me about it. Oh man. I need to watch it again. The song at the beginning about "Our town turning to shitttttt" was GREAT.

Hahaha. Yes. I loved that song... of course, there should have a dinosaur come out of nowhere to eat the roof of the church and scare the s**t out of everyone. That would have been great.
