Almost every game has a story, only one is a legend. Ever since the first one came out for the NES, it created a HUGE fan base. It's no wonder since the game was very complex and it has always been that way. I began to love it after playing "A Link to the Past" cuz without a map, the first one is horribly tough. I couldn't handle all the fireball throwing enemies with just 3 lousy hearts and, without a way to get more I was never interested in continuing it. However, I got a map to the first Zelda a while ago and now I'm at the last dungeon (lv 9) and I'm only missing 2 treasures, the silver arrow and the red ring which, are inside of it. I can't believe that even with all 20 heart containers, I still find this game to be very tough. So much for my gaming abilities, huh? sweatdrop Anyways, Which Zelda was yer first? I wonder who is imagining the Zelda score right now (I am as I type this. Silly, huh?), he-he. mrgreen

Ah yes, the problem with the 4 swords adventure for the cube is that not everyone has a GBA and a GC/GBA link cable. I think the game came with a GC/GBA cable but, maybe it should have included 4, he-he. rolleyes
So yer first one was Ocarina of Time, huh? That's great. Are you gonna play others? I can't wait to get Twilight Princess for the cube cuz there's no way I can get a Wii anytime soon. Btw, the ones I don't like are the ones for the GBC (the oracle games). Why? Cuz there's no easy way to restore hearts and the only way to do that is with a lousy potion that you can only get by defeating a witch. And that darn witch is not always easy to find... stressed I found the whole thing rather stupid.

Nope, your wrong. You can buy the potions in seasons in the waterfilled town during winter after completing part of a quest. In ages, Im not too sure about. Have em both, but cant remember the ages one.

Well it's too late for me to know that now since I don't have Oracle of Ages anymore. Still, I had no idea what town that was or where to find it... rolleyes

Mine was Oracle of Seasons. And I sucked at it so badly. And I know I played Ages for a couple of minutes because I went looking for it. And for some stupid reason, I asked a Movie rental store if they had it. They sai, "Sure, we have it! You want to rent it?" And they gave me Ocarina of Time. I was like "Whaaa?" And got lost in the Kokiri forest trying to find that stupid sword. and it didn't help that I really didn't know Zelda all that well. XD And I still don't! As I've probably said on numerous occasions. I'm sorry to make you all listen to my ranting.
And hypnocrown, if you need to restore Hearts, there's a slightly easy way in Seasons, I'm not sure about Ages, but once you get the shovel (Early on), you can dig for Hearts and Rupies. And if you can't find Hearts, go into the Subsoria area and dig there for their money and buy hearts. :3

Really? So you had a problem with the forest, huh? It's easy when you listen to Saria's song. I had trouble the first time I faced the boss in the forest temple. I think it was some kind of Ganon replica that came out of one of four paintings. After I figured out that the weapon needed was the bow, it was easier but once he gets off the horse he's even tougher. It took me a while to figure out that I had to bounce back his powers with my sword. Oh boy! rolleyes Oh adn, forget about oracle of seasons, I no longer have the game so, it's pointless to give me pointers on it. 3nodding

Well I imagine that a true Zelda fan would get a Wii for sure since the Virtual Console has about 3 or so games available for download now. 3nodding

I've played all of them. But my first was Link's Awakening. Ocarina of Time was my favorite. Followed by Twilight Princess. You need help with Ocarina of Time bosses, let me know. Because Shadow Ganondorf (forest temple boss) was one of the easier ones to find out.
About fishing, Ocarina of of Time is better. May be my opinion, I was good at fishing in OoT. The TP came and I can barely do it. But in the fishing ladies cabin is a picture of the fishing guru from Oot! Has anyone ever stolen the fishing guru's hat before? Good times...

Cool! So Link's awakening, huh? I hear that one is the best Zelda for portable systems yet. Too bad it's very rare and I can't find it...
As for me, I don't need help with ocarina bosses, they're all a piece of cake when you know how to beat them. However, it seems I lost practice cuz I had a hard time with shadow Ganon cuz I couldn't beat it. Even after I got 2 bottles with fairies and more than a few hearts. rolleyes I just couldn't get the timing right, can you believe that!?
I can't really say much about fishing cuz I've only tried Ocarina's and I wasn't the best at it. I did get the gold scale but I never got a really huge fish. I can't remember how much the big one that got me the scale weighed but, it must have been at least 20 pounds... And no, I never got his hat. I just couldn't pull it off for some reason...

Link's Awakening is probably one of my favorites.
I spent hours trying to get his hat before. It's completely worthless but it's still fun to get.
