The room stands baron and devoid of the usual scents and sounds in the air. All that remains is the furniture, and soon that might even be gone.
And Adrian, this time don't do what you suggested you were gonna do.

She walked into her room making her way straight to the bed. She needed sleep, oh she needed sleep so badly. She rested her hand over her abdomen, dealing with Alex and his appetite was beginning to wear her out.

She yanked open the door, ready to strangle the person on the opposite side until she saw him, "Oh, it's you."

She backed into the room, her eyes narrowing a bit, "You're not going to attack me again, are you?"

Ash floated into the room carrying a small leather bag, Kota on one side of her and Ryse on the other. She rested a hand on Kota's head, in a way happy that Shadow had attacked her, releasing her guardians. She set the bag in her lap and reached down to rub Ryse's head. Plus, she felt that if she had not brought along the two, Alex wouldn't have let her leave his sight.
She looked down at her stomache which was still flat and almost giggled remembering how Alex had spoken to his son. She rested a hand on her stomache and let her feet touch the floor as she looked around. She was grateful that Miss Tabitha had given her the room, but truth be told, she had rarely spent any time there and with the child coming, well, Alex and Kei were sure to be keeping a closer eye on her. She walked around the room, picking up a few things and sliding them into the bag; her bartender's bible, Mau and her's wedding pictures, A picture of her older son, the locket, a couple candles. She stopped as she reached a picture of the little purple haired girl with bright blue eyes. Ash took the picture from the frame and ran her thumb over her own face, erasing the image temporarily. When and if her daughter found out that the woman caring for her wasn't her daughter, she would figure out how to unlock the spell. However, for now, the child needed to be a child, and be happy. Ash took the picture and left the room with her bag in hand letting out a shrill whistle for the wolves to follow here. Slowly she made her way down the hall to Shadow and Nienna's room, stopping outstide the door momentarily.

There was a small pop as the air in the room shifted, Ash appearing on the bed. She let a small hiss escape through her teeth as she felt the energy drain from her and another contraction seized her. As the contraction subsided she tried to even out her breaths, counting silently in her head. She collapsed back onto the pillows, closing her eyes tightly as she felt another contraction approaching. Normally she would have held off the pain but to get her had taken too much of her energy.
Several unladylike terms came from her mouth as the contraction took hold, most of them directed at Alex. She clutched at the sheets of the bed, fighting to keep her claws from unsheathing, letting out a shrill scream.

A few hours later, the soft cry of an infant could be heard throughout the halls, coupled with howls from two wolves from deep in the forest surrounding the castle. Ash sat up in her bed smiling down at the small squirming mass of blankets settled in her arms.

The young child tottered into the room that was once her mothers. Slowly she made her way around the room, inspecting little trinkets that had been left behind. She stopped as she came upon a framed picture of her mother, her older brother and herself at the beach at dusk. A small smile curved her lips upward. No matter what people had said about Mari, 'Cheta knew her mother had loved her. Her mother had only left her in the tavern 'cause it was more dangerous at her Uncle Alex's and she had been planning on coming back.

Ash walked into the room, wiping at her eyes angrily. She felt as though her heart was somewhere in the vicinity of her lower rib cage, shattered to pieces. Shaking violently she went around to the far side of the bed, knelt down and dragged an old huge bag from under it. Slowly she made her way around the room, placing pictures, clothes, candles, figurines, all that mess into the bag.
She knelt down in front of her dresser, pulled the bottom drawer out. She pulled the extra sheets she kept in the drawer out and found the crook which they had hidden for so long. Gently yanking on the thin piece of wood she pried it out and looked down at the contents within. Inside were over a dozen pocket knives, a couple of daggers and a couple of rolled up wads of money. Most of it was 20's, money she gained when she had sold her two bars. Slipped 3 or 4 of the knifes into her pockets, slid a dagger into a sheath that was slung across her back. She stuffed the wads of cash and the rest of the weaponry into the bag and replaced the piece of wood and sheets.
She gazed around the room for a few minutes, making sure that none of her peronal affects were being left behind. She really regretted having to leave but being this close to her daughter and not being able to have her was killing her. The house she now shared with Alex, Kane and Perry was even too close, but her son needed her. Adil and Alex were the only things keeping her from returning to her own coven in Maine. Them and the hopes that her eldest son would again speak to her one day.
Shaking her head, she left the room, closing the door behind her, she climbed down the stairs and swiftly left the castle. She would send for the furniture later if they needed it at the house but, for now, it was all too heavy with memories.

Ash walked into her room quietly, Adil settled comfortably on her hip and Ryse and Kota on either side of her. She had no earthly idea why she came here today, she just felt the need to be home. Her real home. She missed her sister Tabbie so much and the homesickness had just gotten to be too much.
She smiled softly as she sat on the bed, the same set that she and Undertaker had shared so many moons ago. She sighed as the memories flooded back to her, the happy ones including the bad.
