Kyoko was telling Kyo because she wanted to tell him how hard life was. i thought her mom's past was sad. crying

You mean the 16th. ^^

She was friends with Kyou back then. ^^ They spoke about a lot of things including Tooru. Considering Kyou was the same it's not surprising she ended up telling him that she used to have a similar attitude.
