Ever thought that someone from another existing anime/manga series looked alot similar to Allen? Kanda? Linalee? Etc. So post D.Gray Man twins!

Allen Walker and Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. They look like brothers to me!

I thought about Edward when I first looked at Allen. They both have the arm thing going on. I'm just going to add pictures to the first post.

i was wondering when someone was going to put allen and edward. before i started reading dgm (i had just heard about it), i thought, "allen walker is the new edward elric." sweatdrop lol yeah i'm a dork.

That guy looks like a younger Kanda! Do they behave the same way?
Oh and is that pic of Kanda fanart? Cause I want to use original images to compare the two e.e;

For some reason or another D. Gray-man reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist, it may be that they both have the same art styles but I don't know it just reminds me of it for some reason confused

xD Akira is Kanda with a haircut.
..o.o I'm probably the only one who thinks Ed does not resemble Allen at all. >.> Mostly because of the hair.
As for the comic...I disagree. It's unfair to say they have "trademark coats" because...EVERYONE in DGM has trademark coats. It's their freaking uniform. That's like saying Mustang has a trademark outfit.
The rest of the comic is pretty darn funny though xd Aha. Poor Allen...I can see Armstrong chasing after him already...

I don't know. I feel it's unfair to compare animes because, honestly, there's only so much creativity out there. They have to be nearly the same in order to be compared, like...Ouran Host Club and Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club (I think this one's called My Heavenly Hockey Club in English). Now those two are REALLY similar.
There can be similarities and connections drawn between any anime then. But I don't know...lots of people think FMA and DGM are similar both in characters/designs and in story. I don't get the connection. o_o Maybe it's just me...
Eh, sorry. Ignore rant if you please. >.>

In case you guys haven't noticed, IT'S ANIME!! Just about all characters have at least a few characters from other animes that look like them.

my god! i've always thought that they were so alike! when i first read d.gray-man, i thought, "this reminds me so much of fma." especially whe kanda started calling allen bean sprout. lmao

It's funny, I thought FMA and DGM were similar too, though I really couldn't point out any similarities (besides Ed and Allen's arms, but they aren't the only characters with unusual appendages, and the characters' personalities really aren't very similar). Weird.
And I know this isn't exactly comparing two anime characters, but I think it deserves being pointed out.
Proof that Bob Ross has existed throughout history.
