I'm so full of ideas that I'm completely embedded in writer's block. Three stories are begging for attention all at once, but since it's all of them, not just one, I can't concentrate when I try to work. I have two more stories, but one's fading, and I wanted to write down notes before it completely vanished, but I can't sit and type long enough to get anything more than two sentences out.

In short, I am in dire need of advice. gonk Has this happened to anyone else? Can I possibly have some tips to help me get through it? I'm afraid that -- if I don't hurry -- I'll lose my latest book idea forever. But I can't write it out, either, so... Can anyone help me? Please? I'll be eternally grateful!

Have a nice day!

Well, first of all, calm down and clear your mind, or at least give it a good cleaning.
Then, choose ONE story to focus on for the time being. Do eenie meanie minie moe to choose if you have to.
Reread what you have written, think it through.
Then, write a list of at least ten things that could happen. It doesn't matter if some of the things sound stupid, write them down anyways.
Read your list over and over again untill you find a possibility that just jumps out at you.
Try using that possibility. If you don't like it, try something else. If you have to, try all the possiblities untill one works.
Then you can work on a different story using this method.

Well, at least that's what works for me... ^_^;;;

Okay. Okay. I'm trying to calm down. I haven't written much of anything since Spring Break ended, though, and I'm having a hard time not getting antsy. Okay, I'll try it. Deciding will be tough, but I think I can handle it. Maybe I should try focusing on a backburner story for a little while, since I've been spending so much time on my series.

Anyway, steps one through three work nicely, but it's step four that bothers me. I know what's going to happen in all but one of my stories, since I've been planning them for so long and I can't think of anything that would disrupt them except a new character popping up. Four and five would work well for my backburner story, Wind, though, if I can only keep the other four books quiet long enough to think.

Okay. Okay. If I keep calm, this might work. I think another problem is that I'm not getting any feedback on my stories from my editors because we're all so busy, and I'm not used to writing without feedback.

Thank you very, very much. Calming down and forcing myself to think is a good idea. Let's see if I can manage it. I think I really am losing my mind, going without writing with so many ideas in my head.

Okay. Calming down. Thank you.

Have a nice day!

And by the time a week's up, I do it again.

Try to see witch characters jump out at you witch one yells "tell my story" and not "well if you don't tell my story i'll go away." I know, I know bad advice... It's just that when I have a worthwhile story a character sits up in the top of my brian poking me and showing me the same scene over and over so many times I want to rip brain until I write the scene.Except right now my current scene... well never mind your thread not mine! *bad writingpen bad!*Also, your still a teenager ask your parents or sibling or whatever to give you feedback I haven't published and tend to kidnap my sisietr and beg her to edit my stories. Publishers aren't the only the only ones with opinions.

My family hasn't read the preceeding books, and my friends haven't even caught up, so they'd have no idea what's going on. My dad's read my first book, but nobody else in my immediate family has. How wonderful for my self esteem. sweatdrop So, unfortunately, I can't use your second suggestion. My friends are all too busy to read my work right now anyway.

And I think that my problem is that ALL of my characters are begging me to tell their stories, all at once. I'm starting to settle down, though, only jumping stories every other day, rather than every other minute. I think that's progress.

My Writer's Block is still there, but I've been able to write a few pages each for two of my stories, so I'm feeling a bit calmer now.

Still frustrated by AP testing, though. *screams into pillow* Don't want to complain, but I'm getting pretty darn nervous.

Have a nice day!

Focus on only ONE thing at a time. Study for AP testing for about an hour, then turn to writing, it should be a lot easier then.

I'm having a hard time focusing, is all. And two hours of freetime! rofl Two hours! That's funny. I've been lucky lately because my teachers are tired of grading homework, and my English teacher has been having us do timed writes. That's going to change. Then I'll vanish, and post only on weekends.

If I had more than two hours of free time, I might actually study and work instead of just panic as I try to decide what to do with the time I have. Usually, I end up writing and web-surfing while panicking about OMGAPTESTSAHHHH! and trying not to think about all the stories that I'm not writing and how little time I have left with my family and friends before college, which will change everything, and about how much homework awaits me in the world beyond writing and the internet.

...

Whoa. Maybe that's why I have Writer's Block. sweatdrop

Have a nice day!
