Arkham Inmate Joker

Ok I would have put this here yesterday but I got home late and was busy. Anyways, Rea told me to put this here (even though I think people will believe me to be insain, oh well).

So yestarday around 12:30p.m. I was driving down the highway to Rea's apartment. About halfway there I saw something walk infront of me. It looked human, it wasn't in any shape or form of an animal. By this time I'm seriosuly freaking out and near screaming because...I have no time to stop my truck. I HIT the person walking, or so I thought.

This is the uber strange part.

When I hit the person, it goes THROUGH my front in and THROUGH the cab of my truck, clipping my right shoulder on the way through goes through the back and vanishes!! Now while it went through my truck, my truck stalls and dies. I have to pull over to the side of the road and check my front end. Nothings wrong with it. There are no dents, the oil level was fine, nothing was in the motor!

When the figure hit me through it felt like a large force of wind hitting me. It didn't really hurt, it just felt like I was pushed hard aginst my seat.

When I finally got to Rea's house I was skeptic to even tell her, lol. This is not a normal thing and I, myself even feel like I should be in a padded room right now, lol. This is not the first time something like this has happened to me...Ask Rea about the boy who lives in my basement. >_>;

Yep yep. True! That was freaky when you finally told me about it! I wonder what it could have been...it reminds me of the movie Gothika....great movie.

Ok, omg I forgot to tell you this while I was at your place today, the spot close to where it happened, there's a cross ont he side of the road with a name on it. I haven't been abile to read it yet though.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2007 11:23 am

so it *WAS* there! I was wondering! I forget what the name is, but I know *exactly* where you are talking about! That cross has only been there for about a month now..maybe a little less. redface

You are right. I am going to call you insane. blaugh But not because of your ghostly encounter. You seem to have forgotten the main topic of the guild. Hellooooooo.... we are a psychic guild.... not a Psychology guild. One questions the strange workings of the mind, while the other accepts them. blaugh

If anything, the worst you will face are the skeptics who question the authentisity or your story, some may wonder about what drugs you were on that night

or

you get people like me who will be asking you if you plan to do some research to find out if your encounter coresponds to around the same time of the accident, or if you plan to make communication attempts to find out if it is a lost soul, or emotional residue (spirits maintain their level of intelligence, while residue are lucky if they can manage a sentence)

and do tell about the boy in the basement please heart

Oh! The boys name from the road! It's Brian Lang. I can't find anything in the newspapers about him, so his family must not have put anything in them. I'm not sure where else to look...

Lol Ok I can promise I take NO drugs. I'm not that kind of person, lol. I was very hesitant about posting it. People already think I'm out of my mind. I've had many encounters with things (lost souls, spirits, etc) but none like this. Most the ones I see only look at me and go away. None have ever walked infront of my speeding truck. The cross was dated in Jan. of last year, so I think it was just a bit of emtional residue because I haven't seen it again and it canished so fastly when it happened.

I'ms till skeptic about it. A saw a white store bag blow across the road last night coming home from work and it scared the hellout of me. stare

Anyways, about the boy in my basement, heh. Rae can back me up on this for the most part. I really can't tell what he truely looks like because he vanishes so fast. He doesn't talk, or has no tried to yet. I had always had the feeling of someone being around me while I worked on my pc. The basement is pretty well were I do my work at home most the time.

I know he's around my age or so. I wish he'd hold still so I could see what he looks like. When we first moved in he staied inthe basement but a few weeks ago he got brave and went to MY room. I was having troubles with my lover and I was to the point of crying myself to sleep when I felt a warm body next to me and then a soft touch to my cheek.

So it was a shock when that happened. He's a kind spirit but afraid of my guest. Usually when it's just me he'll sit on the stairs or the back of my couch and watch me work. The only way I know this is because I can see him in my pc monotor most the time. When I have guest over he likes to stay back in the far corner where it's just stone and concret.

I'm just glad he's not trying to push me down the steps or anything. If anything he tries to get me to stay down there with him. Every now and then I feel a tug on my pantleg or shirt when I get to the first step getting ready to go up. I'll keep trying to connect with him and maybe find out his name or what he looks like.

Yes. Everyword of that is true. He really is a nice boy. I think he and I are equally afraid of each other. I know he's there, I can feel him, but I've never *really* seen him. And he seems to stay as far away from me as possible when I go over. Although, the last time I was over, he didn't seem as afraid...I felt something come a little closer last time. I just let him have his space. I respect him, and I think he understands that.

He seems quite sad though...well..maybe just melancholy...but on the sad side of melancholy...But there are times when he's very content. I think he's missing a family member...like a sibling or something...

Oh...by the way...he's a blonde.

Being out of your mind, would depend on who you talk to. Which is why finding people who are a little more accepting of this will boost your confidence, and maybe even strengthen your ability.

The boy does sound nice, maybe even a bit Casperish (lonely and looking for a friend, but shy about it because he is a ghost), or something similar.
But if you want to establish communication, there are more ways than just verbal to do so. Simple gestures, and behavioural observations are good starters. Maybe the next time you work on the computer and you realize he is behind you (and there is no one else in the house), place an empty stool or chair beside you and see if he is comfortable enough to use it.

XD I try to think I'm sane..well..sane as I can be, lol

He is very friendly..when in a good mood. I have noticed he's been distant due to the fact I'm moving, and that does kind of make me sad. Hell if I could take himw ith me I would! lol, I doubt Rea would like that too much, lol.

He does like to sit in the moon chair I have (when it's not full of sewing stuff), or on the back of the couch behind me. I will take this in adive though sence I only have a few days left here.

I did hear him try to speak the other day though. It was very faint and I almost didn't realise it. Lucky nothing in the house was running, which is why I heard him. It sounded just like he had said either "why" or "hey" But that's all I heard.

Thanks for the advice though!!

I know! If I could I would! Did you feel him around when you were over here last time?

Well, this is an old thread, but I was wondering how things went with the move? Did your friend come with you?

It feels alittle sad to me, like you were his companion!
PostPosted: Sun Jul 08, 2007 7:53 am

yes, he moved with us. He's a very nice boy really. I think he hangs out under Arkham's bed because both my cat and dog with stare intently under the bed, but not go under it (my cat will sometimes...then she won't want to move).

Sometimes he sits in the moon chair and just watches.

He disappeared for a short while, just a few weeks ago, but he's still here. I think maybe he had some business to attend to.

I agree with Rae on this one. He likes to roam around my room a bit when I'm typing or he sits behind me. If i"m downstairs I've noticed him on the stairway...more so like he did at my old house in the basement.

I actually get sad if I can't feel him in the room. More so because in a way we understood one another and...in a very small way..I was all he had and sometimes I feel he is all I have. The only person who hasn't left me in some way.

I've felt him lean on my back before while sitting infront of my computer. This more so happens a lot when I've very tired and stressed out. I guess it's his way of making me lay down when I don't want to.
