I thought it would be cool to have a topic where we can find out what everyone has in common aside from there love of all things Buffy. This is the place to post your intrests, current obsessions, current celebrity crushes, whatever you like!

Well golly that's alot of interests Ms. Blackwater. And I must say, it's great that you let me join your guild. ^^
Well, unlike alot of people here I'm kinda a new fan of BTVS and Angel. I started watching reruns in March of this year. So I'm still trying to watch all the episodes and I'm still a loyal fan of both shows. 3nodding
On the topic of animes...unfortunately I've lost alot of interest in many animes. I don't have any desire to watch any of them for that matter. gonk Though in the past I was a hopeless Yu Yu Hakusho and Ranma1/2 fan. Not to mention Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. And I started to get into Full Metal Panic and Gravitation, but of course I stopped because I found a new show to watch, Buffy. But I'll still watch anime on occaision, but I'm not a squeeling fan like I was before.
Music? I love country. Blame it on my roots, but I do. I love how it tells stories and sings about life that's simple and not materialistic. It sings about the kind of life I want to have, simple and downhome. Plus it's very patriotic, and I do love the USA. whee So naturally my favorite country atrists are Alabama, George Strait, Brooks&Dunn, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Tracy Tritt, Keith Urban, and the list goes on. ^^ But I also like classic rock, mainly from the 80's. I love hair metal too. But my favorites would have to be Bruce Springstein, and Brian Adams. heart
Well, I'm a hopeless lover of Johnny Depp and Jude Law.*melts* heart Even though I think Johnny looks so bad as Willy Wonka, he looks way too weird for me.
And I'm a girl who loves to shop and put on makeup. I'm what many would call...preppy. But I'm not the mean annoying types. I'm a rare breed of the open-minded ones that are willing to try and see new things, and not just want to be like everyone else. Like Gaia, I'm the only one from all my friends at school who like this site, or even heard about for that matter. Not to mention they hate anime and Buffy. So this place is great for me to meet new friends who share my interests. heart

Okay my turn. Tales from the minority girl...
First of all, music. I like to listen and play music (the latter i don't enjoy that much hehe) I like to listen to:
My Chemical Romance, HIM, Green Day, Evanescence, The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, James Blunt and i like Delta Goodrem too biggrin Bit of a mix at the end but hey...That's me!!
Next, television. If this was not invented i would be bored to Hell!! I liek to watch Buffy (of course) and i've just got into Angel. CSI Crime Scene Investigation (and just that one. No spin off's like Miami or New York for me), Friends, Doctor Who (the new series anyway but only coz of Christopher Eccleston heart ).
I love to read. Any sort of books really. My bookshelf is just full of Buffy, CSI and Doctor Who books right now though and it's taking a while to read them all! :p
Love films. My favourite has to be The Butterfly Effect. Ashton heart . He's someone to write home about!! I like horror films but i ain't mad about them. I prefer nice, mushy films or confusing thrillers.
I don't really fit in at school. Mostly coz all the girls at my school are into makeup and boys and i'm just...Not. There's just four of "us". People like me in my school i mean. And i am no way popular either and i like it that way and it's staying that way!!

ooh I love watching movies I have so much fav. movies here are some:
American history X, Lotr, gladiator, the green mile, oceans 11, saving private ryan, the pianist and many more ^_^
and I love it to go to the beach. and erm.. swimming, shopping, reading, writing.
and I'm a big fan of Sarah Michelle gellar, Brad Pitt, Tom hanks and erm... that's about it.
I love the game Tomb raider, but I didn't like the movie. that sucked xd

I love listening to music, anything like The Dresden Dolls, Le Tigre, Paddy Casey, Slipknot, Greenday, Tsunami Bomb, Metallica, anytihng really, I play the guitar, well saying that, I [;ay my friends, but still.
My favorite show's after Buffy would be Alias, The L word, Law and Order SVU, and sometimes Will and Grace, thats all that I watch ever, alright, I might watch some anime, but thats only recently introduced, so Im still looking for a good one.
My favorite movies would be Resident Evil 1 and 2, Taxi, Elektra, Mr and Mrs Smith and Daredevil. I love Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Garner, and Ben Affleck.
I love reading, Im half way through the new Harry Potter book, I also love the Resident Evil series, I also adore Garth Nix's Old Kingdom Trilogy.

Hmm. Other TV: SNL, Invader Zim, X-Files Books: 1984 (yes I can go on and on about that book), Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Kurt Vonnegut's work... I can get into most books. Games: The Sims/The Sims 2, Sonic the Hedgehog (yes, I still love that game) Music: My Audioscrobbler account says it best. People: I don't have many celebrity crushes. I'm normally not really the type to go squeeing over someone. But if I had to pick two people, they would be Eliza Dushku and Tina Fey. Food: I'm a vegetarian. I absolutely love Morningstar Farms fake sausage patties on a bagel. It's the simplest most yummy thing ever. I also love rice, noodles, and potatoes. Which is good, because those are pretty much the staples of a vegetarian diet. My mom's vegan, so everything I eat at home is pretty much vegan. And, in case you don't know, a vegan doesn't have eggs or dairy products in addition to not eating meat. There's no way I'm giving up ice cream, so there's no way I'm going vegan anytime soon.

That's quite strange as my life is practicaly exactly like thatapart from the whole liking Delta Goodrem, and also I am about the only one in my year who likes Buffy. Oh well, my aim is to get at least one of my friends liking Buffy. I made a couple of them watch once more with feeling and they quite liked it. I think they are just scared that they will be called geeks or losers, but I don't know why they care about other peoples opinions.

Let's see. . . outside of Buffy. . Well, I like Angel, Firefly (I can't wait for the movie to come out!!!! whee ), Joan of Arcadia, M*A*S*H*, Jeopardy (it's fun to know the answers xD), the History Channel in general, and the BBC, whenever we can get it in on my crappy television.
I have such an eclectic taste in books (despite what my English teacher said to me, oh how I wanted to kill that woman. . .) that my floor is mainly filled with whatever books that I have not a) shoved into my bookshelves, b) put down into the crawlspace for safe keeping until I move into my brother's room, or c) are currently lending to one of my friends and/or family. My mother has gotten me hooked onto Regency romance novels, in exchange for getting her hooked onto Buffy, which is a fair trade, but I've been poring through those books, she now regrets giving a bunch of them away. My favorite mangas include: Cross, Demon Diary, Helsing, Sailormoon (I still have the entire collection of that.) Peach Girl, and whatever else I can blow my allowance on in a day in Borders or Barnes and Noble, whichever one I feel like going to that day.
When it comes to video games, I like everything from Tales of Symphonia to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to Super Mario RPG to Shoot the Ducks. (I went from Gamecube to NES. . . ), and the gun for that game still works, amazingly enough!
My taste in music drives half of my friends nuts, because the only things I don't like are country, oldies, or rap, AT ALL. But Cradle of Filth, Marilyn Manson, NIN, Evanesence, Jet, and so on and so forth, I listen to them all the time. I happen to currently have Evanescence: Fallen in my car's CD player right now, and it's so much fun to listen to Tourniquet while driving around. twisted
In school, in my grade, at least, I'm known as the one you DO NOT want to mess with, because while I may be quiet and very understanding, you NEVER wanna piss me off, because everything goes downhill from there. I think that's the reason one of my friend's actually gave me the nickname Faith, and oh, is it fun to use that nickname. I have a medium sized group of friends, but a lot of people seem to accept me, for some odd reason. But, then again, I am respectively known as a vampire (damn my science partner for that), an alien, and an alcoholic (my best friend is a dumb-a**). neutral But I have a lot of respect in some of my classes, because I actually argue with the teacher, and then blow off what they say for an assignment, especially when it came to band, but then again, I never had to worry about assignments in that class, I knew a lot more than everyone else, and me teacher would always tell me to shut up (very kindly), after I had answered one question whee blaugh 3nodding .
I LOVE horror movies, and the next time the rest of my family goes out of town and leaves me alone, I'm going to go out and rent all the scary movies I can possibly get my hands on, and then spend the whole night watching them. That's going to be interesting, because I have three swords, and I pity anyone who comes to the door the next day. . . sweatdrop xd Well, that's what I do outside of Buffy.^^
