Dark Cave links Cherrygrove to Blackthorn.  Requirements: ~Enter from Cherrygrove or Blackthorn ~Must know Flash to enter, and Surf as well to make it all the way through Pokemon available (7 posts, then roll 1 10-sided dice) 1, 6, 7= Zubat 2, 4, 9= Geodude 3 or 8 = Wobbuffet 5 or 10= Dunsparce Levels are determined in the first post of battle following you roll. Roll 1 4-sided dice. 1= Lv. 4 2= Lv. 5 3= Lv. 6 4= Lv. 7

Brayden entered the cavern, and was immediately plunged into pitch darkness.
"...Uh.... wow.... I can see how this place got its name..." Brayden muttered, stumbling over a rock, which skittered across the cave floor, creating a series of echoes.
"Or maybe, I can't see how it got its name..." Brayden muttered, "I can't even see my own hand in front of me..."
Rummaging in his backpack, Brayden pulled out his flashlight, flicking it on. It sputtered for a few seconds, before going out.
"Just great..."

After a bit of searching, Brayden discovered, even after his trip to the Poke Mart... he didn't have any extra batteries.
"Just my luck," he muttered, finally locating the Flash HM. Releasing Sutekh for a moment, he held the disc in front of the Raikou.
"This'll only be a temporary thing, okay?" he promised, activating the HM.
Sutekh nodded, releasing a sudden blinding flash of sparks that illuminated the cavern tremendously. After a moment, the energy concentrated, before condensing in an orb which Sutekh held hovering over the group as they travelled.
"Pretty spiffy," Brayden admitted with a laugh.

"Well, this cave goes all the way to Blackthorn, but I don't really need to do anything there," Brayden murmured, not realizing that was where Kaya was currently, fighting for his 8th badge in the region.
"What do you say we explore here for a bit, then head on out?" he suggested. "I just kind of wanted to see this place. I haven't gotten the chance to explore it yet, and thought it would be interesting."
Caliga shrugged, she was willing. Sutekh didn't seem to be against it either, so the three set out to explore a little.

The sound of Pokemon scurrying around them was a bit unsettling, however, Brayden knew he was safe, especially with his current choices in companions. He didn't think he'd run into any trouble with the local Pokemon.
They stepped carefully over a ledge, making their way to a pool of water that prevented them from going further without Surf. Brayden knew he could simply teach Cye it again, but decided against it, opting to explore the near side of the caverns for a bit instead.

Sutekh continued to light the cavern, as Brayden and his Pokemon took a look around. They found many side tunnels and passageways, but Brayden didn't know the cave well enough to traverse down there without knowing where he'd end up. For one, he didn' think he could backtrack if he got lost, which definitely wouldn't be a good thing. No, better to play it safe for a while.

Brayden flipped open his Pokedex for a brief moment to check what was available in the cave.
"Wobbuffet, huh?" That's an interesting Pokemon," Brayden laughed, looking through the data entries that were showing up for Pokemon that could be caught in the Dark Cave.
"It'd be interesting to catch one, but I won't get my hopes up. We won't be here for too long," he decided. Whatever he'd run into would have to be enough. He wouldn't stay too long looking for one Pokemon in particular.

In fact, as Brayden thought about it, he wasn't too sure he'd catch anything he ran into. He was sure a Wobbuffet would be interesting, but he didn't know if he'd ever have the time to train such a troublesome Pokemon. However, he decided what would be would be.
He didn't have to wait long for a Pokemon's appearance, as he heard a scuffling from behind him. Brayden turned, peering into the darkness beyond the light that was offered by Sutekh's skills.

"So, which way do you think we should go?" Brayden asked his partners. Caliga shrugged, while Sutekh opted to return to the underground lake the group had discovered. Brayden followed along behind the leading Raikou, as Caliga took up the rear, darting off every once and a while to investigate the sights and smells of the caves.

A short travel later, the group found themselves back at the lake. Brayden took a seat at the edge of the water, gazing out at the murky depths.
"Wonder how deep it goes..." he mused quietly, picking up a rock and throwing it into the water. It vanished a few seconds later under the surface, giving Brayden no idea on the depth. The water was too murky to see anything, even with Sutekh's light.

"Ah well, it is an interesting find, though," Brayden smiled, relaxing a bit, listening to the water drip from the cavern roof. The Dark Cave didn't seem to have much human activity in it, which Brayden found charming. There weren't many places which humans hadn't exploited yet, so it was nice to find one quiet place in the midst of the chaotic world.
This train of thought brough him thinking of Lance and the sword again. The thoughts had been plaguing him for a while, but he refused to allow them to interfere with his daily life.

"I'm way too weak," Brayden sighed, flopping to his back as he gazed up at the cavern roof. As if in response to his pitiful sigh, the cave dropped a bit of water straight onto his nose, which caused him to sneeze.
