Clan: From the small Kitai clan. Most recently the Kitai family have been stewards for a forested section of Rukongai.

~Appearance~
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 173 pounds
Hair: His hair is of medium length. It is a dark flame red, that is always immaculate. However, a few stray strands are always fighting temselves free of his headband.
Eyes: Rikatsu's calm eyes are a soft misty grey.
Clothing: The standard Shinigami uniform, with the additions of the pristine white cloth wrappings he uses as sheaths for his Zanpakutou, and a headband of silver cloth with the seal of the Kitai clan just above his eyes.
Mortal World Clothing: Dark pants, a silver shirt and his family headband.
Physical Description: Rikatsu tendsd to move at a slow considered pace, placing every footstep with care and always conscious of what is happening around him. He's athletic in build, with slightly over-long arms.
Background: So far Rikatsu has lead a rather boring life, semi-cloistered
within the smallish Kitai estates. He is an only child and is bearing all the hopes of his parents with him as he is the first child of the family in 3 generations who has chosen to enter Shinigami training.
Personality: Calm and solid are the words that come to mind, always unruffled, never impolite, yet not detached as some with those qualities are.
Other: Due to his heritage Rikatsu is almost totally incapable of using hohou further than a couple of feet, however he is able to apply that speed to his hands and arms for defense.

3 - Zanpakutou (Work in Progress)

Zanpakutou name: Tatsumaki no Tsunagi (Tornado of Shining Sand)
Zampakutou Call: Blur Tatsumaki!
Zampakutou Apperance: A set of two Jo sticks, each just under 2 feet long. The right hand stick is made of a semi-transparent obsidian bound with silver and the left hand one is the opposite; Silver bound in with obsidian. When not in use Tasumaki is bound to Rikatsu's arms by a clever set of white cloth bindings that allow them to be dropped into his hands with a simple shake and twist.
Zampakutou Type: An odd mixture of earth and wind
Zampaktou Soul: A quiet stone grotto encircled by a screaming
whirlwind. Tatsumaki is one of the rarest of Zanpakuto(even aside
from not being an edged weapon) in that its soul isnt anthrapomorphic.
Shikai: An obsidian fighting staff over 6' long and just over 1.5"
thick. The staff is shod in silver caps and is further divided evenly
by thick silver bands all inscribed with symbols of earth and wind.
Whenever the staff is in motion the scribing ignites into a blue flame
that grows brighter the faster it moves.
Zanpakutou Abilities: Tatsumaki greatly increases the speed of
Rikatsu's hands and arms at a cost to movement speed. So while he is
stationary he is capable of lighting fast strikes and blocks from and
to any direction.
