I've noticed some pointless topics posted in the idea, and I've noticed that lots of people reem these people off for posting in the wrong place, wasting ED space, wasting oxygen, etc (me included).
Well, I've been thinking, and a possibility just occurred to me; what if noobs make dumb posts like this just to irritate the educated? Not all, but I doubt that every person who posts thing like "hello" in the ED is some newbie a moron. By all means, give your opinion.

Yes, a lot of them are probably only posting to get on our nerves. This is why I get irritated when I see a useless topic with 3 pages of answers telling them to go away. Why? because its only feeding a possible troll.
A few people (kindly) informing the OP that they are against the TOS is enough .Generally this is best if the OP has made some effort in their post, something like ahsdjkfh or I'm horny, should just be ignored IMO( xd ). If its a NOOb, the NOOb will hopefully move their topic and learn their lesson. Posting a ton of time to tell them they are stupid, will only make them angry, and they make take to spamming the forum for vengeance.
If its a troll, and only a few people answer, with the thread being allowed to die, then the troll will be less likely to post more topics.

qqqjerry is a troll. One who pisses in the ED just to make us intelligible people mad. He is not a n00b. He is beyond n00b. Anyone on the blacklist in green is exactly what you have just inquired about, but this a*****e is the ring leader.

They can add and add and add but never fix what's already a mess. Lovely, no? And I love how they took the "ANIME AND MANGA" off the front page. At least the OTAKU are usually reasonably intelligent.

i do wish there was a way that the people that have been on gaia for a longer time could get into the ED and all the noobs cant...it would solve the problems

E.g. A "general" ED for all users, an ED that only users of six months or more may post in, and an ED that only users of one year or more may post in.
