its a place no one ever goes....a place where people fear.....its in the wastelands....the place of damian's first outbreak. It lives up to its name and damian comes to visit every once in awhile....when he is depressed or pissed....just depends...its deader than the wastelands.....thats its name the Dead Zone...no life...nothing at all.....just a crater.....in which to thing and dwell on the past....Damian comes here also to have a chat.....with Drae

Karen slipped up some garbage, and fell onto the matted ground of the Dead Zone. Karen stood up, and dusted herself off, as Minty came up behind her. Karen turned around, and looked the area over, notincing how there wasn't any life. She slowly walked around in circles looking at the ground.

-Damian was standing in the center a bit off from where karen was, he was looking at the sky and looked as if he was saying something. he then sat and smiled-wow...first example of my powers...

Karen heard Damien's voice, and turned to see where he was. She than slipped falling down on her butt. Minty came over, and nuzzled Karen's leg. Karen still just looked over to where Damien was sitting at.

-he say her and got up and went over to her and helped her up-what are you doing here?-the beating of wings could be heard far off, Drae landed and was waiting for damian-hey karen i want you to meet my uncle Drae-he dragged her over-

Karen was dragged over to where Damien went. She could feel a sharp wind coming from some wings, as she sorta lost her breath. Her heart skipped a beat, and than began beating normal again. Karen's breathing than began up normal again. She looked up at the figure that was in front of Damien and herself. Minty slowly walked over, her hair on her back raising up.

-Drae smiled and looked at Karen-i see so this is the girl.....your...sister?-he looked her in the eye as if damian was reading her soul-do not be afraid.....do not be tormented and do not be in shock.-Damian smiled and gave drae the three swords he had. Drae smiled-so i see you still have them. I just wished i had the time....wait i do...-he glanced at Karen-karen....do you feel up to the challenge of facing me in a friendly spar?-he bowed keeping his eyes on her-

Karen looked around for the person Drae was speaking to. She than shuck hre head, and finally noticed he was speaking to her. She looked him over a bit, and felt a small gust of wind blow through. " Well, I haven't fought in awhile. I guess maybe now is my best time to get un rusty." Karen said slightly as she walked to the center of the crater. She than turned back and looked at Drae and Damien.

-Drae walked with her and bowed and took a couple steps back, Damian sat in a tree and then looked at them. Drae smiled and bowed again-your move miss Karen...damian thinks to loudly....he is encouraging you to do your besst in his mind....-drae smiled and waited for karen to take the first move-

Minty crawled up the tree, and sat in Damien's lap, curling into a ball. Karen faced Drae as her hair blew around a little. She than grabbed her ribbon that was attached to her dress. Karen tied her hair back, and than looked back up at Drae. Karen slid a finger over one of her daggers. She then slid it out, and looked at it. It slowly glowed a bright color. Karen than pulled out the other dagger from it's hilt, as both of them shined brightly.

-there was an odd clicking noise as he unsheathed the Blessed Blade as if something in his hilt was unlocking, he looked at her and his sword glowed brightly, it was odd for him to used a holy blade such as it and he sat there twirling his blade idly and he awaited her move, he looked at the glowing blades and then at her-determined i see.....i wont underrestimate you...

Karen stood there for a minute, and than pulled into a stance. Karen's blades still glowed, and than she began running around Drae. She kept her eyes on him at all times to be ready for action.

-he spun around and slashed leaving a large cut in the ground but the force of the impact of the circling wind blew karen off her feet and made her slide a few feet back, he sat there with his eyes closed and breathed out and smiled and then opend his eyes-nice try

The wind that was meant to knock her down, ignored her. " Nice try is right..." She smirked, as her angel wings came out. " I'm one with the wind." Karen said as her shining daggers disappeared, and a sythe appeared over head. She grabbed it, and it started glowing a white color. Karen than started floating into the sky.
