For the senior honor ceremony, one of the teachers got his band back together (it's a cover band). But one of the songs they played they said this before they played it "We've been hearing this song on the radio lately, and a lot of people think its new...but it's actually like thirty years old" And then they proceeded to play 'Breakfast In America' by Supertramp. When they first started out all the black girls (no racial discrimination here) started singing cupids chokehold, and when they realized it wasnt that song they all started to look really confused and it made me laugh. Why did they have to get popular? Oh well, no ones going to believe me when I tell them i've been listening to them for three years.

XDD My dad just told me that the song was originally by Supertramp and was about 30 years old. I was like, "O RLY?"

... I would've made the same mistake xp
I don't like GCH all that much though. Their songs with Patrick Stump and William Beckett I like, because it's not only rap... Although I suppose songs like Viva La White Girl aren't only rap either. I don't know. They're okay 3nodding xp

Haha, yeah. I realized that it was originally by Supertramp a few months ago and I loooove the original so much. Supertramp's so cool sounding and that song is amazing. And I agree. I hate when bands get so big. =/ But it was WAY cool when I first heard "Clothes Off" on the radio. xDD

So I downloaded some songs by Supertramp, including Breakfast In America. And then my mom came in and was like "why are you listening to Supertramp?" and I was like "You've heard of them? surprised " and she was like "Yes, they were famous in like.. the 80s!" and so I was like "well now they're famous again, thanks to Gym Class Heroes." and then she was like "..huh?"
xp
That was a lot of 'like's

Haha the only reason I know that is becuase whenever my friend and I listen to it on the radio at her house her parents always tell us. Every single time. I like that song but I'm not really a fan of Gym Class Heroes. I'm not big on rap.

xD We were actually talking about that in my cabin at camp last summer, that and the Beatles' "Hellogoodbye". I heard that song on the radio once upon a time after hearing Cupid's Chokehold and thought that it was so funny how different the latter was. That's a pretty funny story.
