Alrighty, so I spent the last week without a shower, or enough changes of clothes. The Marine Corps calls this "going on a field op". I'm a Comm Tech so I fix this big ol' machine called the AN/TRC-170 . Now setting up the TRC is easy, I spent most of the time waiting on the distant ends technical controllers to get their multiplexers and switches on the same page as the rest of the shot.
The TRC was up in a few hours, so for the next week I just had to walk around and sweat wishing we were allowed to have cellphones or laptops. I don't really think there's a lot of discussion but I felt like ranting about it.
