A large field 5 miles northeast of the village. Completely surrounded by trees, this field hosted one of the most grusome battles of the war. Only about an acre in size, 500 shinobi lost their lives fighting for access to the lake behind it. The Mist village and the sand village fought vigorously for hours here, having to call a stalemate due to intense loss of troops on both sides. The ground is burned, ashy, and still reaks of blood. Most of the corpses have been either removed or buried in the earth, but time cannot cover everything. Shinobi that visit this place are stuck with a sudden blood-lust and thirst for battle. The soft ground, the many weapons scattered across the field, and the small size make Akucki Firudo(roughly translated, blood field) an excellent arena.

It was HERE that Thane...the REAL Thane, had roosted during the past few days. It was from here that all the pieces fell into place...where he watched through distant eyes the progress of his pawns and their petty little hunts for greater power, all just for the sake of fighting him.
Yet now his puppets were suffering casualties. Iden had proven faster to react, and better equipped, than Thane had originally assumed.
Denkou had been far more....unusual....than Thane had accounted for...
And there was still the matter of others...this Yuudai...who had dealt with the bloodhunter. That displeased him. That proud creation would remain as it was for some time. Perhaps then it would learn to not be so easily conquered....and he would have new specimens and knowledge to further augment the creature...

Thane nearly fell backward, such was the jolt he had recieved. This Iden boy....he was unusual indeed. His strike had torn Thane from his toys and destroyed them all...and worse still, it had shaken him deeply. His own body and mind were intact, but now he would need to rethink things...
with a soft curse he took wing for the town. He had work to do. A fatal flaw had been pointed out, and it would take time to remedy.

Three forms slowly rose from the blackened mud. In turn, they each take on identical appearences, much like the blood hunter that was there predescessor, but calmer, more focused, and showing dangerous signs of a new control over themselves.

She was curious at how they would have done so but didn't bother. From the forest beyond the battlefield came a mysterious figure, with a smile that could be seen from space. He approached Shika and gazed at the metomorphoese before him. "Beautiful, aren't they?" he said. He made a small bow and intoduced himself. "Kougushi Nioi, best soul collector in the world. Shika, is it?"

They stand for a time, drawing strength from the horrors of the fields past, then split up heading in different directions, all detecting different scents.

Gekido, tha last of the original Uchihas, and Kyosuke's cousin(This is from info Kiva gave me, some dude named Kyo,), walked through this field on a foggy morning. An old friend had called him here, wishing his assitance. He had faked his own death in front of Kyosuke, so as to pursue the Rock village leaders that killed his family. The morning was cold, and his hair blew slightly in the crisp wind."Amaya, are you here?"
