Their room so far...
Tapestries, each of different scenes such as woodlands, meadows, ponds and such, lined the walls, each with exquisite detail. A four poster bed was placed off to the side with bedside tables next to it. A couch was put near the balcony. A bathroom, of course, was found and as breath taking as the rest of their apartment. The shower is made of ivory, with gold handles and framing. The sink is glossy ebony, the same shade as the black marble countertop. A mirror sits over the counter, spanning the entire length, this one framed with white gold. The handles on the sink are made of pure platinum. Even the toilet had a velvet cover and silk seat. The inside of the door is pure diamond. The cost of the bathroom alone was easily more than even a prosperous merchant could make in a year.
Behind the woodland tapestry, you will find a pushable (XP "Pushable") panel. When you push it, a door slides open behind a floor length tapestry, revealing another and rather large room. Two or three bookshelves filled with books of all kind, lined the circular room, obviously adjusted so that it was right up against the curved walls. A fireplace was found on one side of the room. One, big, perfectly round table was found in the center of the room with chairs around it. Couches and comfy chairs were scattered throughout the room, as well as a desk here and there. Looking up, all you find is a high, transparent, domed ceiling.
((Yes, I know there are no pictures here. That's because Mikhail and Star have already made up the room beforehand. Until I can find some suitable pictures that fit these descriptions, it will stay pictureless. And more description or items will be added if any of us see fit. ^_^ Have a nice day!))
Credits: No, I did not think up of all this myself. I must thank Mikhail for some parts of these vivid descriptions. ^_^ Nope, I didn't forget you Mikhail! Applause please! *audience applauses* Thank you! *takes a bow*

Mikhail walks in tiredly, his shoulders slumped, the pain clearly evident upon his face. He moves in and goes to the fireplace, dropping down beside it and turning to his wolf form. He lays there silently, eyes closed, for a long while, but sleep would provide him no comfort. He finally drifted off into an uneasy sleep, but wakes within minutes in a cold sweat, and finds himself reaching out... but once again, as it had been for fifty years now, there was no one to hold. A sudden wave of sadness crashes over him, and try as he might, sleep could not reclaim him. Finally, surrendering to circumstances, he paces across the room, tail sweeping back and forth angrily, though his emotions were not remotely in kind, having calmed considerably from before. After that, he lays back down, but to no avail. Once more, he rises, drawing a symbol on the ground with a nail, summoning forth a leaf of paper, upon which his thoughts enscribe themselves. Dearest to my Heart, Star, I am sorry for the suffering I have caused. I once promised that I would love you forever, and I will not retract my statement. I have loved you all this time, and I still do, as I will until the day I die. I beg forgiveness for what I have done, and can only pray that you will accept my apology. You have caused me much pain, so I cannot deny that it will take me time to heal from the grievous injury that I have suffered, but I will try to my utmost that none of my pain will ever again be landed upon you. I pray to have you back... And I have one final request. If you indeed choose to leave me... If you do, and you have ever loved me, in all this time, then please ensure my death before the morning, so that I shall never have to wake in a world without you and suffer the pain of losing you a second time. I love you... Eternally, Your Love, Lord Mikhail of the Swordsworn As he finishes the message, he thinks of one last thing, piercing his heart lightly with a sharp nail, letting one drop of blood fall to the sheet of paper, where it forms the shape of a heart. He lifts the note in his teeth, gently placing it on her pillow, then leaps down to lay by the fire once more, closing his eyes and falling into a quick, but restless sleep. As he sleeps, his breathing begins to gradually grow shallower as a dark red stain spreads slowly across his chest, matting his fur. Through his dreams, his mind sends out one last message to her... I shall love you, Star... Always.

Star rose heavily up and out of the waters. With how she was feeling and looking like at the moment, you could hardly tell that she was a person. She might as well be apart of the cold water she was dripping with. Star staggered on her first few steps from being in the waters too long. Looking up at the window to their room, she swallowed hard. Afterall, she did owe him an explaination, however much he might not even care. Probably wanted her to leave as soon as possible. Making her way back to the castle and up the staircase to the hallway leading to their room seemed like the hardest and longest walk she had ever taken. Even the dreary hallway seemed more inviting than going to face him again. Her footsteps along the hallway was unheard, but not as silent as her breath was. She hardly breathed. Everything about her seemed to fit right in the dark and broody hallway. The only sound she emitted was the steady dripping of water. At last, she found herself infront of the door. Her hand was poised to knock on it... but she hesitated. I shouldn't go and burden him with listening to me. It won't matter to him anyways. Slowly, her hand dropped to her side once again as she made up her mind and began to turn around. Again, she stopped as a familiar voice came into her mind. All doubts and fears dissapated and without a moment's hesitation, Star opened the door and went in. She gazed around the room, but saw no sign of Mikhail. Her eyes fell on the letter on her pillow. Curious, she opened it with shaking fingers. She promised herself to not let tears come again, but she broke that promise as tears stung her still faintly red eyes. Finally noticing the red heart on the bottom, she found something peculiar, she lifted it up to her nose and took a small whiff of it. This was blood. Concerned, she finally remembered the other room and quickly entered it, at last finding him by the fireplace. She was relieved for a mere second when she realized the pool of red surrounding him. Forgetting everything else, she rushed over to his side, embracing him. "What have you done to yourself...?" Star asked, her voice clearly pained.

The instant her hands touched his body, his golden eyes open, eyelids fluttering slightly from the effort as he turns his head to look at her. I... made the heart on the note the same way I wrote the rest of it... from the heart. I was expecting you to leave me this night... so I figured I would make it easier for you when you were to kill me. Apparently I was wrong... You haven't left me, it seems. He spoke with a calm and controlled voice, though every waking moment, he could feel his exertion weakening him further, as it made his heart beat faster to stay awake. He finally succumbs to the loss of blood, and his eyelids flutter one last time before closing, his head lowering back down to the floor. As before, one sentence, only three words, is left on top of his mind, easily accessible for Star. I love you... His body gives one last shudder before losing its illusion of strength, collapsing in her arms, his breath so shallow as to be but a whisper against her skin.

*Walks up to the door of the room and knocks gently. Pressing her ears against the door, she awaited footsteps from within but heard none. Removing her head from the door, she sighs and places herself in a chair that sat outside the door awaiting the occupants to return*

Through his muddled mind and fading consciousness, his sharp wolf ears perk as they heard the sound of someone knocking on the door. Star... Door... someone's there. Let them in, please... He drives himself to cling to the last threads of consciousness, lifting himself onto his feet and dragging himself to the door, pawing at it to no avail. His legs betray him at this point, calling him to thud heavily to the ground, his fall causing his body to hit the door, forcing it open. Mikhail looks up at the figure, barely even recognizing Tabitha as a red haze begins to cloud his vision.

Star pulled him closer to her, putting her head on top of his. Blood began to dye her already soaked clothes, but she didn't notice, nor cared. "You are such an idiot. Why would you think I could even bring myself to leave you?" A shadow briefly flickered across her face as remembered her thoughts from before. "You need to do a lot more than get mad at me to make me not love you anymore. Actually...I don't think there's anything that can make me not love you anymore... even if you one day lose interest in me... I think I'll still love you." Star heard the door knock and began to stand up, however much she didn't want to leave him, even if it was only for a second. But he got there first and she fleetingly followed him. The door was already knocked open before she reached it. She looked up at Tabitha and gave her a curt nod before returning her full attention back on Mikhail. Star gently slipped her hands under him and lifted him up with considerable difficulty. But he had already lost quite an amount of blood, so it wasn't that difficult for her. Blood seeped through her hands as she made her way to the bed, carefully placing him on his back, so as to not hurt the wound even more. If you truly love me...promise me you won't do something this stupid again. Star leaned over his wound and tears formed in her eyes again, slowly running down her cheek and falling on his wound. She made her way to the bathroom and took out a large and warm towel. Star started to clean off the blood around his wound as it gradually started healing. She stayed by him the whole time, and only started working on the dried blood on his wound when it closed up completely. Lying down beside him, she gazed at him as his breathing became more normal. He needed the sleep. Unknowingly, Star's eyelids drooped and she fell into an unwanted sleep beside him.

You ask what would make me think you could ever leave me... Were those fifty years really that long ago, that you do not remember them? I want you to love me... and I want to, and will, love you, always... By the time she had carried him to the bed, he had fallen into darkness once again, not even hearing her thoughts in his head. However, despite this, his heart still felt her tears as they fell upon his wounded body. While he was nowhere near being safe, her tender ministrations at least saved him from death...

"The days that I've spent with you were the most memorable in all my years," Star replied as she tended to him. Before fatigue overcame her. Throughout the day, Star kept waking up, either with a jolt, or a cold sweat, or sunlight seeping through a crack in the window. Everytime she awoke, she glanced over at Mikhail, but it was of no use. He was still asleep everytime. However much she resisted, she fell asleep again after checking up on him. Even though she tossed and turned. Somehow, she managed to get enough sleep and brushed herself up in the bathroom, since she still looked like a wreak from last night.

Mikhail finally awakens, and by the light from the window, judged it to be nigh on midnight. He had returned to his human form, sometime during his rest, and he looks over at Star, who was asleep as well, still dissheveled, though it appeared as if she had tried to remedy the mess. He simply rolled over, taking her into his arms, and closed his eyes, returning to sleep.

Star woke instantly as she felt his arms around her. She turned her body over to face him and smiled fondly at him. I'm here. Don't worry, I'm here... She softly thought to him. Gingerly, Star brushed a stray lock of hair from his face which had gotten out of place as he turned in his sleep. Not wanting to wake him up, but not being able to resist, Star softly touched his lips with hers for a quick moment before she snuggles closer to him and closes her eyes again, not quite falling back to sleep just yet.

As he slept, his breathing came easier, finally lapsing into the world of dreams, having recovered enough to have them once again. His dreams turn to Star, visualizing a wedding... their wedding... The two stood resplendent in fine clothes, all their friends surrounding them, cheering as they were carried away on chairs born on the shoulders of friends and family... Tabitha's family. Somehow he could sense that Star was, by now, part of the Ravenwood family, and the way she beemed with happiness made his heart squeeze, and in the true world, his arms tighten slightly around her, holding her closer to his body. He suddenly awakens, though this time with a calm, rather than the fevered near-hysteria of the past day, days? He couldn't even tell how long he'd been there. But he knew that he had Star in his arms, and he was content with that knowledge, not needing anything else but her.

Star basked herself in his scent, and just knowing he was there. Never before had her dreams showed anything else besides her alone in a murky mist. But last night... a tinge of pink formed in the mist. Not very apparent, and not lasting, but she caught an unmistakable glimpse of the color. There were never any colors besides the usual black, and the occasional browns, grays and reds. Star looked up at him now and then, smiling everytime as she eyes recognized his features. Finally, she caught him awake. Is your wound all healed yet?

He smiles back at her, nodding slightly. It's healed. Not well, but it will last. So long as I don't do too much, I should be alright. I slept well though... and had a wonderful dream... It was truly a dream, for it is something much more beautiful that anything I could ever hope for... He leans forward, kissing her softly, but with power behind it, expressing his love in actions rather than words.

Star kissed him back with as much passion. "I was afraid that I would lose you. It's relieving to hear you'll be alright soon." His words peaked her curiosity. "Oh? From your tone and facial features, it looks as good as you say it is. Would you care to share with me what that dream might be about?"
