Victor-y silently made his way to the Soda River. After a chance to make sure that he had gotten himself fed and washed the taste from his mouth from before. His senses alert, he looked around before advancing towards it at a quicker pace.

 So it was that Ness had been down at the river drinking out of it again. The free spirit she was; she found drinking from rivers to be the best way to drink anything. Her ear was twitching though. She could feel someone coming. "Oh.. NOW WHO COULD THIS BE..." She smirked to herself. She knew. There was only one numa who liked to try and sneak on her like that. But, ness didn't mind.

A purr rumbled in his throat, he recognized the voice in an instant. Ness..Ohh, it had only been a couple of days, but, Victor had grown to her quickly.
He continued to sneak around, keeping his giggle silent.

She really had to giggle to herself. As silly as Victor was, it was much more endearing that Ness could almost stand. She thought to herself how this came to be.
She remembered coming to save and comfort him when he was all distraught. Then, he just didn't let her out of his sight for almost two whole days. In some ways, he brought out maternal instincts the way Yuki did in her. She was able to recognize how sensitive her was.. despite how much he liked to play.
Ness put her head down on the grass as she decided to lay on the ground and pretend she was going to sleep. Why not let him have his fun.

Victor got to all fours, curiously walking around her, sniffing at her to see if she were really asleep. It was true, Ness had really grown on him, and better than any other female had.
Was it true or not, he was happy, and that's all he really wanted to be.

Ness could feel his breath on her. She wanted to smirk so bad, but if anyone was good at playing it cool. It was her. Her wild heart knew how to play the game as good as the rest of them. Just as he had gotten close enough, her tongue slipped between her lips like a snake tongue and licked his nose; and then it went back in. Where she continued to lay there motionless as though she were much asleep.
In the back of her mind, his words of love he said to her before echoed. Still, she didn't feel like they could be true or real. He had only known her a short time. She didn't really believe in love at first sight.. or, going head over heels for one numa. Those were such silly romantic notions. Who needed them? Well, not this wild thing.

Victor jumped back at the sudden lick, onto two feet..and right into the river. He was under, and kept himself under..just to make her worry about him.
It was weird though with Victor. He usually let his heart guide him..and it was actually not only his heart, but..his gut feeling. He never relied on it, and just on the in case it were wrong.

Ness lay there waiting for licks back which didn't come. After a minute, she lifted her head about to yell at him. But... he wasn't there. Nice. Very Nice Victor!! She got up and looked around and then remembered the splash of water.
Did he.. fall in? o.o Ness walked over to the water and stuck her head under. For crying out loud, there he was. But, being a female numa, she wasn't so great at being under water. She pulled her head out and shook off the water afraid it would stain her pretty fur.
She looked back and gave a yell. "Well.. IF SOMEONE LEFT ME AND DOESN'T WANT LUVIN FROM HIS NESSIE.. THEN NESS WILL JUST HAVE TO LEAVE.. Huh???"

Gasping underwater (Oh smart move Victor.. >>), he almost choked for one, air bubbles came up in a frantic motion, as if someone squeezed the air from him, but, he franticly came back up to the shore. He motioned for her to step back, so she wouldn't get wet, and shivered a little. His whooole coat was drenched in the river water. He let out a cough or two, from being so stupid as to try to do that.

Ness turned her head to watch him come out of the water. She walked over to a tree and flopped down upside down, her tail fluffing and falling over from beneath over her belly. "Well, you just let Ness know when you're done fooling around... Ness is so neglected today..."
Ness decides to play drama of her own taken out of a page from the time she spent with him from the other day. She covered her face with both paws so he couldn't see through them. She started to sniff and make a whimpering sound. "I know what it is.. victor doesn't love his ness like he said.. and that's why he won't pet her right.. or fluff her tail.. and makes her get wet in the soda river."

Victor smiled, "You want wet ay? ..", he dove back in and quickly back out, now really soaked to the bone. Walking briskly and quickly over to her, he smiled, looking like a big wet werewolf. (xD) He then quickly began to shake off the river water. It went in all directions, even..it flew back at him somehow.

Ness started to get upset. "You know. Sometimes you play too much. You put soda on my fur.. it's gonna get sticky.. and nasty.. and then Ness's fur won't be super sexy and soft..." Ness fumes and flies up into the tree starting to get frustrated with Victor.
Why was Victor acting like this a lot today? What happened to nice victor who just wanted to luff on the ness and give her affections? Ness wanted to know where he went.

Ness looked down at him. "Well I don't think I like this side of you. I liked my old victor who snuggled with me at my cottage. This is a rough, obnoxious Victor.. and Ness is not gonna hug or kiss him.. and won't rub his horns... or.. or... and isn't gonna roll everywhere with him. I think Victor needs to listen to his heart again."
She then looked down at him so he could see her eyes. Then she just sat up there feeling rather solemn and disappointed. The last few days had been almost like a dream.. Much more nicer and romantic than she would care to admit to anyone. Victor had been persistent and stayed there woo'ing away at her. And, it had been working. The person he was behaving like now though. Ness didn't like this person at all.
"Ness just wants the Victor who wanted to do nothing but love his nessie to come back... I think I should go now...." She sat up there and turned around her back to him. She didn't like people see her sad faces. She was too proud.

Victor looked up to her, a huge lump had appeared in his throat. He tried desperately to make it go down. All he wanted to do before was just bite the wench enough so she would let go of him. .. He didn't want to drink her blood at all. He had a thought.. Maybe..drinking Ness' blood again would bring him back...?
He just wanted his old self back again also, he hated the fact he was disappointing her. He wanted so desperately to just become himself again. Why did this happen?
