Cecilia Cheung Celebrates Her First Birthday After Marriage With Nicholas Tse

Today is Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung’s 27th birthday (Happy Birthday Cecilia!). She flies to mainland this Monday (May 21) to celebrate her first birthday after marriage although she is 8 months pregnant now.
Her husband Nicholas Tse is now shooting drama ‘Huan Hua Xi Jian Lu’ in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Rumor has it that Cecilia sometimes cries recently and becomes quite emotional. She insists flying north to find her husband despite her family’s opposition.

Vic Chou Launches Official Homepage 10/04/2007 In: Taiwan Taiwan pop idol Vic Chou (Zhou Yumin) sings the Japanese song ‘I Love You’ by Ozaki Yutaka at his fan club inauguration in Tokyo while celebrates the opening of his official website V.I.C (Vic International Cooperation). More than 3000 fans come to the event. Apparently Vic is not so familiar with the Japanese language, and he forgot the lyrics and shouted “Help me” to get help from his fans.
When Vic entered the room, he was surrounded by a large group of fans. He cracked a joke the moment he opened his mouth saying, “Who touched my butt just now?” Later, Vic grates 500 fans by giving them five. Vic pitifully says “My hands are red, and swollen!” This time, Vic donates one million yen (around 66 thousand HKD) to the victims of the earthquake.

Wu Chun vs Jiro Wang Dongcheng 04/20/2007  Haven’t heard of Wu Chun (Wu Zun) and Jiro Wang Dongcheng yet? Then you’re out! Because they are members of the hottest Taiwan pop boy group Fahrenheit and probably the next superstars!
Although just released one album, Fahrenheit is rumored to split up soon. The main reason is that both Wu Chun and Jiro Wang Dongcheng are considering themselves the leader of the team, and other members are not so happy with the rising popularity of Wu Chun.

Jay Chou Won't Get Married Until 35  Taiwan pop singer/actor/director Jay Chou (Zhou Jielun)’s directing debut ‘Unspeakable Secret’ has wrapped up shooting recently. Since it is his first time directing, he learns all by himself. Earlier director Andrew Lau (Liu Weiqiang) says that Jay is doing the job quite OK and is somehow similar to Andrew’s directing style. Jay is very happy since he is doing the job without asking for other’s help.
Jay says that he will not get married until 35. All his rumored girlfriends are top celebrities including Jolin Tsai (Cai Yilin), Patty Hou (Hou Peicen), ********* from girl group S.H.E and Gui Lunmei. Jay says that most of the time he doesn’t know how to deal with his love. He plans to reveal his true love only before his marriage.
As to his own company, Jay laughs and says that he is the only singer in the company JVR and he asks the talented singer to sign with his company.
Jay Chou will release his new album this October. Although he is already the No. 1 singer in China, Jay says that he still has room for improvement. His biggest wish is that people all over the world know his music, and he doesn’t have to sing in English. His only aim is that people still want to listen to his music sixty years later.

Taiwan: Ella Chen's Mr. Right Revealed  Ella Chen's Mr. Right is finally revealed! It’s not her rumored boyfriend Wu Chun from Taiwan boy group Fahrenheit. He co-works with David Tao on music, was once in a group called "Shu Bi Du Wa" and "Why Not," and has released an album; his name is Chen Xi!
Ella Chen from Taiwan girl group S.H.E. and Chen Xi met at H.I.M producer Wang ZhiPing's birthday party. The two have good feelings towards each other, and exchanged phone numbers and MSN. They often contacted each other ever since their first meeting. In order to protect him, Ella refers to him as "DJ" which stands for "Dear Josh." Josh is Chen Xi's English name.
When on a talk show earlier, Ella revealed that she was willing to get married when dating him. The two would see movies together, and she would even go to his house to chat and talk about dogs, which is very sweet.
Chen Xi openly admitted that he is the DJ that Ella talks about. "Ella told me about it, and whatever she tells the media. I am fine with it. We are good friends, very open, very natural." As for their dating, his answer is similar to Ella's: "We are good friends that like each other. As for the future, no one knows."
Ella once said that after knowing DJ, she becomes happier, and she has matured a lot. Chen Xi admits that Ella would go to his house to see his 2 dogs. They would chat about dogs, listen to music, and eat; their conversations are never-ending.
When Ella's dog Qiangqiang passed away a few days ago, the first thing she did was to call Chen Xi, and he says that he understood her grief and comforted her. He adds: "Very unfortunate, I didn’t get to see Qiangqiang's cuteness before she passed away."
Chen Xi is music producer Chen Bi's son. He was once member of a group called "Why Not" and released an album, then later he joined a group called "Shu Bi Du Wa" after Jacky Wu quitted it, then released another album called "Wanna Fly." Right now Chen Xi co-works with David Tao. He was married once and is now single.

Taiwan: Jay Chou Prefers Directing to Acting
Having tried his hand at both acting and directing, Taiwanese pop sensation Jay Chou says he prefers being at the helm of a movie because it gives him more control.
After becoming one of Chinese pop's biggest acts, Chou played a street car racer in ``Initial D,'' then appeared in famed Chinese director Zhang Yimou's Chinese historical epic ``Curse of the Golden Flower.''
He has since moved on to directing and is about to release his first movie. ``Secret,'' scheduled to hit movie theaters in late July, follows a student played by Chou as he unravels the mystery behind his love interest's sporadic attendance at school.
Chou said in an interview with Ming Pao Weekly published over the weekend that he prefers directing to acting.
``As an actor, I have to listen to the director, even though I may not like the way I have to perform. As a director, I'm very clear on what I want, so I feel more confident,'' he was quoted as saying.
``As an actor you have to be a very good chess piece for others to play with. I prefer to control others,'' Chou reportedly said.
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter also said his interest in movies stemmed from making music videos and that he still feels most confident composing music.

Taiwan: Fahrenheit Members Visit HK Disneyland  Two members of the Taiwan four-man pop group Fahrenheit, Jiro Wang Dongcheng (Dadong) and Aaron Yan Yalun, enjoyed themselves by visiting Hong Kong Disneyland on Tuesday.
The two pop stars were invited to host the media preview ceremony of Hong Kong Disneyland's summer party "Mickey's Summer Blast". The other two members Wu Chun (Wu Zun) and Calvin Chen Yiru are busy shooting drama ‘Princess Little Sister’ or ‘Gong Zhu Xiao Mei’ and can not come to Hong Kong.
They also had fun viewing the wacky waterworks parade by Mickey Mouse and its pals and joining the amusement activities.
The summer party will open to the public on July 14 and will run through August. It will also feature "plunder the fun at pirateland" and "animation academy".

Taiwan: 'Hana Kimi' Star Danson Tang Begins Singing Career  Danson Tang made his grand entrance to the media conference in a stretch Cadillac, escorted by four Harley Davidson bikers.
Taiwanese idol Danson Tang Yu-zhe, 23, signed with music label Avex Trax Taiwan on Monday before the local media.
Perhaps best known for playing a playboy in the popular Taiwanese drama ‘Hanazakarino Kimitachihe’, he is now set to become a recording artiste.
