Sunday night was the dinner my parents had planned for my "graduation" party. It was to celebrate me getting my G.E.D. even though I got it in February, they wanted to have the party around my brother's birthday so we could celebrate that as well. Well, let me tell you something about my dad's side of the family. They have high expectations. My dad has 7 brothers and sisters and each of their kids has gotten straight A's and gotten into good schools. I am the only exception to this pattern and neither my dad or my aunt and uncle (who came to the dinner) have any problem with joking about how I'm not as smart as anyone else in our familiy. My mom has been on my dad's back for years now to get him to stop putting me down in front of our entire family because honestly, he does it all the time. So about a half an hour before everyone was to show up I was of course sulking in my room playing depressing chords on my guitar when my mom came in and as usual, because she rocks, kept asking me why I cared so much what they thought of me because she knows I'm a smart person and that should be enough, right? Well maybe in her eyes that's enough but when you have 16 cousins who all went to Brown or Stanford or Yale...I definitely am going to feel like I don't really have the same respect from my aunts and uncles as my other cousins do. I got through the dinner but I didn't feel much better about myself.

Okay, I might as well rant again. Thanks to my panic disorder, I'm sick EVERY DAY. Which is why I don't have a job, I don't take classes, and why I'm on Gaia ALL the time. Yeah...it's because I'm sick. Last summer I found a medication that actually made me feel well enough to get a job and get my GED, but my body builds up an immunity to drugs pretty quickly so eventually it stopped working. Now I'm not on anything because I have tried so many different things that either didn't help or made me feel worse.
I am soo tired of being sick. I never complain...in all the years I've struggled with this I've never complained because no one wants to hear it. Maybe you guys don't read this thread and I'm talking to myself, but sometimes I just want to be heard. You know?
I just wish there was some miracle drug that could make this all go away...

My sister won't tell me if she's coming to visit next week or not, and it's really pissing me off because if she's not going to be here I'll make plans, but I don't want to have NO plans and then she says she's not coming and I have nothing to do next week. Also I haven't seen her in two years so I miss her a VERY large amount so I hope I do get to see her. She's my best friend.
