I would so love to have one, However I think that it's gonna cost too much for me to buy right away. I'll probably have to wait until the 2nd year. It's got too many neat functions for me to justify it as a necessary expense xd

Well get used to it Apple is finally becoming a worth while company. I hated Apple. But even I know a good thing when I see it.
The iPhone is just hot in my book. The touch screen, the harddrive, having OSX. All the stuff on it is great. Makes me wish I had a use for a cell phone.

I'm going to wait for the 2nd release, right now I have a nice phone and other things that I should be dishing out cash for.
I really like the iphone though, it looks friggin sweet!

It looks awesome, though I don't think I'll be able to afford a new phone for a while...

I'm not going to get it. ever. lol, but seriously, I think it has way too many features in a phone (why do you need to watch a movie on your cell phone, seriously,) it's too expensive, and it's not going to be compatable with my provider (I refuse to switch, Verizon is the best company I've used yet and we're tried almost every major brand out there over the years.) Plus, I have a bad habit of unintentionally crashing macs ever time I use them xd

I agree with Mia x3 Verizon is the best company I've ever been with, too.
Anyway, I'm not even going to think about getting one. Not only is it not compatable with Verizon, but . . . I just want a phone gonk You can hardly even find cell phones that don't have cameras or the internet on them, anymore, and I just don't need that on my phone. It makes it way too easy to rack up more of a bill and it's not like I can mess with iTunes or play a game or snap a picture with the thing while I'm driving.

Frau Svenja von Wolfsberg . . . I just want a phone gonk I agree. this February was the first time in 4 years that I'd gotten a phone with a camera on it. I guess the cameras can come in handy and it is kinda neat that you can stick a picture in to see who's calling at a glance (very helpful to me since I know loads of people with the same three first names, lol,) but I don't need a super special awsome phone that can do all the things my desktop computer can do, minus the memory intensive games (which hilarious enough reminds me of the soyjoy commercial "I don't need a triple chocolate fudge caramel nut toffee bits blast me across the room bar" xd )

Anyone know anything about the provider they're using? I'm with Sprint, and I'm pretty sure the iPhone's only going with...Cingular? If not, maybe I heard the commercial wrong, but it looks like for now they're only sticking to one provider. I can only imagine how many companies fought tooth and nail to land that deal with Steve Jobs. I'd LOVE to have one, but there's no way I'm switching providers just yet. Not when 90% of my friends and all my family use Sprint, that is.

humm i must be the only one who thinks its a bit of a waste. i mean would you really need to use all that comes with the iphone, i have a computer to do that. A phone is used for making and receiving calls. The only people i could see needing an iphone are business people who need it for work.

Not really, my friend basically just told me it uses fingers instead of using a mouse. I was like well that's a computer isn't it now?
