Duranjaya looked at himself in the small stream he chanced upon in his exploring, and nickered lightly to himself, still amused at how he looked, all grown up. What had Wachiwi called him? 'Handsome'. He eyed himself, and smirked a little at his reflection. Only slightly egotistical, Duran couldn't help but agree. He looked away after a couple minutes, ears flicking lightly, and when he didn't see anything, Duran put his head down and took another slow drink from the stream.
He pulled his head back up from the stream, and looked around. Seeing no other Soquili around him, he stepped into the stream, and kicked lightly, grinning when the water splashed around him. In the very mind of a young colt he used to be, Duranjaya splashed in the stream, very much amused and not much caring that he was getting muddy because of it. Ah well!

*Strange tricolored wings stretched to their limits as a young stallion came out of his place of rest. It had been a while since he had seen anyone besides his mother. Folding his wings back to his sides, the silvery colored stallion shook what bits of grass and dirt from his coat before looking about for a place to quench his thirst. His long mane hanging here and there about his neck, he headed toward where his nose could smell water. It was a good thing too, his mouth felt as if he had been eating cotton.
Upon reaching the small stream he was about to lower his head to drink when the sound of splashing came to his ears. Looking about he noticed another in the distance, but didn't really think anything of it as he lowered his head again and this time did quench his thirst. Still the splashing reminded him, of himself when he would try and splash his sister in the rainy times. A smile crossing his face, Andre went closer to the still younger stallion, younger then Andre himself. Stopping not too far away he watched the stallion.*
"And here I thought I was the only one that still liked to play in the water." He proclaimed as if discovering something new and wondrous. "But then again, I only did that when teasing my sister." This thought brought a chuckle from his throat, his inherited golden gaze watching the other for a reaction, if there was one to come from his sudden announcement of his presence...

Ohh, there was a reaction. One that anyone with any sense of humor would love to witness.
Startled from the sudden announcement of another being there, watching him splash around like a silly little colt, Duran bounced to turn around, and managed to trip himself with his legs, falling head-first into the water. He looked up slowly, shaking his head off quickly, and blinked up at the newcomer.
"...." He looked sheepish, and got up slowly, kicking water off of his legs. Fruitless, since he was standing in water, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. "Hi." He muttered sheepishly, grinning. "Who doesn't like splashing in water?" He said, suddenly recalling what the newcomer had said. "It's fun!" Duran grinned widely.
"I'm Duran." He said, nodding to him. His manners were a bit scattered, and he'd almost forgot to introduce himself. "Duranjaya, but everyone calls me Duran." Which limited itself to Wachiwi, since he hadn't seen 'everyone' in a bit.

*Andre just about fell over upon seeing the startled reaction of the other stallion before him. Though laughter did erupt from his throat and he had to close his eyes, but the image was burnt into his mind. Shaking his head a little, Andre looked back toward the no standing stallion, small bursts of laughter escaping him now and again. That was one thing that Andre might not let this one live down.*
"My name's Andre, but everyone else seems to call me Andy." He said between chuckles, his wings fluffing out at the sides a bit. "As for who doesn't like splashing, my sister. She tends to wander away from me when I start splashing." He shrugged stepping into the water himself and raised a hoof to slam it into the shallow water, making a large splash about his hoof. "I think she doesn't remember that we are all still foals at heart like my Cousin Isabella says."
*Standing still once more, Andre looked this younger stallion over, what had he said his name was? Duran? Or something like that? Andre canting his head to one side a little before taking a small pace toward the side, still looking the strange coloring Duran had, then again, Andre didn't exactly see any horses about that were the same coloring as his or his parents. They all were different, that was for sure...*

A little indignant at the stallion in front of him laughing at his fall, Duran shook his head, grumbling under his breath. Every time. He looked back up at the newcomer once he stopped laughing, and smiled a little. Well, it was funny...
He nodded when Andre told him his name, and grinned a little when he splashed in the water. He jumped back from the water, grinning a little, and stepped forward again, stepping down hard to splash in the water again. Not quite as large a splash as what Andre had created, but it still splashed, darnit.
"That's awful. Splashing's fun." He nodded sagely, and then looked at him, curiously. "What're those?" He nodded to Andre's wings, curiously. "I've never seen someone with those before." He admitted sheepishly, grinning. "They're like birds', right?" He tilted his head. And then his eyes went wide. "Oh hey! You can fly, can't you?"
Clearly, Andre was full of 'teh win'.

*A smile crossed his face as Duran splashed back, only resulting in Andre rearing up to bring both hooves down into the water. Hopefully splashing them both, he chuckled feeling the water upon his belly, it was chilly, but felt good. Then again, it was good to find someone that liked to splash in the water just as much as he did. To his mind, if anyone saw the two playing like they were, they might have seemed like brothers instead of complete strangers only moments before.
Lifting his head up when attentions turned toward his wings. Blinking a couple times at the sudden questions, his wings fanned out a little showing about half their true span. The flight feathers remaining close together at the moment, showing off the tricolor pattern that he basically inherited from his father. Looking at his own wings he looked back toward Duran.*
"They're my wings and of course I can fly. I come from a family that has wings, both my mother and father have wings. My sister too." He informed before looking at Duran with a bit of a shock. "You've never seen wings on a soquili before?" he asked out right watching Duran as if he was crazy. "Then again, I haven't seen anyone else with wings besides my family so there's not the big of a loss." He shrugged pawing at the water a bit.
"what's your family like?" he asked after a moment of silence as it seemed that the conversation of families had come up. "Mine's alright, My mother is silver like myself, my father is black and gold colored, my sister looks most like him." He nodded thinking of his sister. "What about you?"

Duran giggled, gleeful, when Andre reared up and brought both hooves down, splashing both of them. He shook the water off himself, giggling. It was nice to 'play' with someone, even if he was a big boy now.
He nodded, staring outright at the half-stretched wings. He stepped forward, examining them closely, and then grinned at Andre widely. "They're pretty." He nodded sagely, eying his wings again and then stepping back. "All I got is this..." He explained, starting to bounce back and forth from hoof to hoof. Dancing in his own little way.
"Well there's my Momma, and my Dad, but I haven't seen them in a while. And there's my sister Tayoo, she's really cool too." Duran nodded, and then frowned. "Haven't seen her either, not in a while." He admitted, pouting a little at the thought. He'd have to hunt down his family later. He looked up, and grinned. "That's cool, having wings like that. What's it feel like to fly?" He asked.

*Andre had long folding his wings back to his sides as he eyed Duran as he danced in place, a brow raising a little before he looked back at the stallion's face for a moment. It seemed interesting enough anyways before looking toward the skies.*
"That reminds me of my father's sky dancing he's been teaching my sister and I. Though My sister seems to like it more then I do." He laughed. "But I suppose I could like it if someone I cared for more then my family liked the sky dancing." He shrugged lowering his head to drink.
*Now he was thinking of his family a bit, they were all winged, and they all seemed have some talent in sky dancing, if that is what one could have called it. Or just pulling off dangerous tricks at the very least. Shaking his head from his thoughts he looked back at Duran.*
"I guess we all inherit something from our families that can be useful in someway or another." He joked pawing at the water as his long tail twitched throwing small droplets everywhere.
